Frits, I've seen the herons going down on the left overs from the fish stalls, this is really a nice show, they are plenty of them. Marc, you should really come back one day at 17-18ish, I'm sure you'll make great photos.

The painter Mondrian (Pieter Cornelis "Piet" Mondriaan) is Dutch and this is maybe why in architecture Dutch like angular shapes and vivid colours. This house is a good exemple, it is as angular as its neighbours but has the favorite primary colours of the master of de Stijl.

Le peintre Montrian (Pieter Cornelis "Piet" Mondriaan) est néerlandais et c'est sans doute pour celà que les néerlandais aime ce qui est carré avec des couleurs vives en architecture. Cette maison est un bon exemple. Cubique, tout comme ses voisines, elle arbore les couleurs préférées du maître de De Stijl.

You have to visit Madurodam to know about it. Their leaflet says that this is the well known ING headquaters. As I know that The well known ING headquarters is the ING house This one must have been some other headquarters.

Thanks again Rene to complete my prose. Do you remember if the silos were exactly like that when this place was a sugar factory? It seams that the "windows" on the silos have been added later.
