That certainly is not its intended operating mode. I work on Plaxo for Mac and wanted to let you know that 1) we actually have a couple G4 Mac mini's that we test on, so your Mac is no slouch and shouldn't have any troubles running PfM under normal circumstances. 2) After a prolonged development period, we just released the first update to Plaxo for Mac since April with several enhancements and bug fixes. 3) If you are interested in giving PfM another shot, you can feel free to follow up directly with me should you encounter any troubles as you indicated in your post.
