Oh, I didn't know this! Not in this much detail anyway (I sorta remember you mentioning in passing how you almost didn't make it to 360iDev). This is what I get for shutting out Twitter when I get busy ;-) I almost always find out the great stuff happens after the fact

It's so great to read about the community coming together to help a fellow dev. And it was great to meet you in San Jose last April! (Damn, 3 months ago already? WTF?!?)

I have the same problem you have, Tom. There are many things I like to get my hands and mind into. But when I stick my hands and mind into everything that I like doing, I don't do shit. :-) Nothing gets done if I try to do everything.

So I pick one thing, get through that, enjoy it to hell, and end up satisfied when I finish it.

Then I pick another one thing ...

BTW, your traffic feed says I'm connected from Atlanta because I'm on the net through tethering my Sprint cell phone. But I'm still in PR. Weird. I wonder what your traffic feed will say if I connect with the Sprint cell phone once I'm in San Francisco.

I don't know if they take checks :-p They just started this new special with the new (gregorian calendar) year. It's basically half price from 12 pm to 2 pm and from 5 pm to 7 pm, Monday through Thursday. They weren't getting as many people in during the work week. Business has always been steady on the weekend, even though their regular price of $13.99 is IMO too high. Before Fu Hou lowered their prices, I could actually save money driving 20 miles to Bayamon and getting the buffet at King China for $9.99

Absolutely. You can get a delicious meal for less than $4 dollars from food stands just about everywhere here. Unfortunately the majority such stands sell deep fried stuff, not good for you. It's unfortunate because I love 'em, but shouldn't indulge. LOL

You probably had some form of this food from your Brooklyn Rican neighbors.

Upon close inspection of the picture of Kensuke and Nanako with the longan, I wonder if longan is a fruit we call "quenepa" keh-NEH-pah. Would you mind taking a close up picture of an open longan pod next time you get a chance? Oh, and if it's the same fruit, it's probably no coincidence that it is ready for picking around this time of year over here as well.
