Not in this much detail anyway (I sorta remember you mentioning in passing how you almost didn't make it to 360iDev). This is what I get for shutting out Twitter when I get busy ;-) I almost always find out the great stuff happens after the fact

It's so great to read about the community coming together to help a fellow dev. And it was great to meet you in San Jose last April! (Damn, 3 months ago already? WTF?!?)

Re: Take the wide turn, love what you do.

Hi Mike! This was a great post! Lots of insight. From the movie City Slickers:

Curly: Do you know what the secret of life is?
[holds up one finger]
Curly: This.
Mitch: Your finger?
Curly: One thing. Just one thing. You stick to that and the rest don't mean shit.
Mitch: But, what is the "one thing?"
Curly: [smiles] That's what *you* have to find out.

I have the same problem you have, Tom. There are many things I like to get my hands and mind into. But when I stick my hands and mind into everything that I like doing, I don't do shit. :-) Nothing gets done if I try to do everything.

So I pick one thing, get through that, enjoy it to hell, and end up satisfied when I finish it.

Then I pick another one thing ...

Re: Shadow Cage

BTW, your traffic feed says I'm connected from Atlanta because I'm on the net through tethering my Sprint cell phone. But I'm still in PR. Weird. And the music is very trippy, arty. I agree it goes well with this shot.

Re: Tunnel Vision

Nice music pick, BB. It's basically half price from 12 pm to 2 pm and from 5 pm to 7 pm, Monday through Thursday. They weren't getting as many people in during the work week. Business has always been steady on the weekend, even though their regular price of $13.99 is IMO too high. Before Fu Hou lowered their prices, I could actually save money driving 20 miles to Bayamon and getting the buffet at King China for $9.99

Re: Ox Year Grazing… | BBluesman/Mark Forman

This is extortion! I think I'll keep my platanos and amarrillos and will just go to the Fu Hou buffet down the street. $6.95 all you can eat. ;-)

Re: Not a List-Web Radio Stupid! | BBluesman/Mark Forman

Ohh, I think it's more than 10 years since last I listened to Jethro Tull (listening to "Aqualung") I had forgotten how much I liked that band

Re: Not a List-Web Radio Stupid! | BBluesman/Mark Forman

Great! I guess that's only fair, we have egg drop soup and tostones at a growing fast food chain here called "Chino Latino". Not a joke, that's the name. Makes me laugh every time I drive by.

Re: Light, shadow and color

Absolutely. You can get a delicious meal for less than $4 dollars from food stands just about everywhere here. Unfortunately the majority such stands sell deep fried stuff, not good for you. It's unfortunate because I love 'em, but shouldn't indulge. LOL

You probably had some form of this food from your Brooklyn Rican neighbors.

http://gopuertorico.about.c...

Re: Reconnecting: The Saito’s in SanYi

I should have tried Wikipedia for both fruit to see if they were really similar. Would you mind taking a close up picture of an open longan pod next time you get a chance? Oh, and if it's the same fruit, it's probably no coincidence that it is ready for picking around this time of year over here as well.

Re: Light, shadow and color

Maybe we can trade.
