Computers are obviously a naturally occurring object, and scientists have absolutely nothing to do with their creation. Thankfully we don't need scientists for medicine either, we can use leeches. Ruh roh, someone did not accurately predict and report an earthquake to the last detail; jail them for doing their best with a situation that can only be tacked with educated guesses. Oi Vey. For me it took around 2 weeks to really get a feel for the device; once that was done, there was no turning back, I finally found a phone that wows me. It's big enough I do feel like I have a tablet when I'm doing email, text, web, streaming media; and small enough that it fits neatly in my shirt or vest pocket when not in use. Utilizing it as a GPS is excellent. For me this is the perfect phone, a nice blend of tablet and smartphone in one easy to manage device. I have never had a Nexus phone, so have always had to deal with manufacture x's overlay, I do find Samsung's overlay to be the easiest to use out of the several I've tried over the last few years. Looking forward to Jelly Bean for my 1st Gen Note.

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note II review: Is bigger really better?

Fast food news, will never have what you are looking for. Blog style news articles are hammered out, given a once over by the author, and dumped up on the interwebs. Even "print" authors miss the mark regularly in papers and books across the entirety of literature. I've read books that were edition mark 3.5 and still seen spelling and grammar mistakes; no worries, I'm there for the content, not to grade a paper. So, you and your ilk may either write your own news blogs showing how you can do it better, and cater to a market that agrees with you; however, after looking at your own post you may want to reconsider your remonstrance.

Re: Young brothers, 'denied refuge,' swept to death by Sandy

Wow... The level of complexity of a "hack"(really a crack) can be great or minor, but it still is what it is.

The assumption that people in our legal system do not understand technology may be valid, but in this case, the facts speak for themselves without confusing it with muddy details. 2 men wrote a script named "Account Slurper", utilzed that script against a server they did not own, or have rights to, stole data from that server, and got caught.

Really the apologists are worrisome, almost like they would like to be allowed to run around doing this without any sort of repercussion. There are no deep principles that would cause honest people any issue here. This is not a new law, it's been in effect for decades now; the simple solution if you do not like what happened to these 2 bozos is don't mess with other peoples data, get it? it's not hard, basically it's like this, if it's not yours, don't take it, break it, or poke it with a stick.

Re: Experts question guilty verdict for AT&T 'hackers'

Becki, thats a fair take on it.
