We can not be narrow minded and thing that "Change" will come over night and that all things will change. President Elect Barack Obama will prioritize the issues and start addressing them just as he stated. As a safety professional for over 15 years I know that work place safety has improved and that "work place safety" is not one of the top issues in the USA. Most pro-active safety companies like mine have safety systems in place to address identified hazards and systems to correct them. We do not need more mandate from the government in order to "Do The Right Thing" and protect one another at work and at home. President Elect Barack Obama is the leader of the "CHANGE MOVEMENT" we must do our part. Yes We Can Make a Change!

Re: What Does Obama’s Win Mean for Workplace Safety?

I do not expect "Change" to be addressed in all areas of government. As in safety processes at most proactive safety companies, Obama must prioritize issues. We all know that there are larger issues in the USA to address then work place safety. We have come a long way in work place safety and we have identified areas for improvements. We don't need government to mandate more laws so that we "Do The Right Thing" when it comes to protecting one another. Yes Obama will make a change for the better !

Re: What Does Obama’s Win Mean for Workplace Safety?

I do not expect "Change" to be addressed in all areas of government.
