Sorry to break it to ya Jazz but New England clinched the AFC East last night when they beat the Bills, meaning they have won their division every year this decade, something I'm pretty sure no team has ever done. (I could be wrong about that but I don't have the time to look it up)

(In Jazz's defense that part of the post was probably written before yesterday's game was over.)

There are many genetic diseases that shorten life, or make the short time that offspring may have on Earth painful and cruel. Ideally, the solution would be a way to fix these genetic anomalies in utero or pre-implantation in IVF cases but the science isn't there yet. (And once it is, there will be no stopping people from making use of it.)

Of course, such treatment should not be forced on people, and this app is similar in that it's entirely voluntary. If using it makes you uncomfortable then don't use it. Otherwise, I say move forward.

Well, they do.

The only reasons they have not cracked down in HK are (1) Because of the 1997 agreement that ended British rule under which HK is given a modicum of self-government for 50 years. That agreement expires in 2047, and (2) Because a massive crackdown in HK would be bad for business.

I agree with the general idea that cruelty toward animals should be punished but this is clearly a matter of state and local law not the Feds.

Since this case was decided based strictly on state law, it is highly unlikely that SCOTUS will accept it for appeal. Also this case makes the Federal lawsuit that Trump filed (and won) irrelevant so that appeal will probably also be denied.

There's only one reason for Bone Spurs to do this, and that is because it will play well with the MAGA-hatters.

What Gallagher did was a clear violation of regulations and the laws of war. The same goes for the other two service members that actually received pardons from Bone Spurs. In doing this, he spit in the face of every American who has served in uniform and done so honorably and within the boundaries of the law.
