Now of course that was FREE TV, in old Standard Definition. There were a couple of other shows on UPN as well - but the one that took all the high ratings - SMACK DOWN - a dumb wrestling show. Those of us working on ST:VOYAGER called UPN "the UnPopular Network, or U Pretend to be a Network" and a few other names I can't mention here. You get the drift, and so did the public. UPN shut down and the ST show went to channel 13 in Los Angeles - sort of a technical KOD - Kiss of Death. Seeing the show AT THE STUDIO, after final color grading and Visual effects were finished, it just broke my heart to see the crappy images on UPN and Channel 13. GOD - what a lot of great work for nothing. Fortunately, you can see Voyager as we shot it - buy the DVDs. Now BEFORE CBS makes the same mistake AGAIN, we must all write to CBS and tell them what fools they are going down this idiotic path AGAIN. They will NOT get subscribers - and they will really PISS OFF the Star Trek Fans. Put the show on mainline CBS for free (ie advertisers pay the freight), and see the show "Live Long and Prosper".

Re: Dimon Fortress Breached as Push From Hedging to Betting Blows Up

As a nation, as a government, as investors, WHY do we NOT LEARN FROM HISTORY? Was the 1980's Savings & Loan disaster not warning enough? REIGN IN THE BANKS before they do it again!!! Well, they did, and they still are. And until we throw them to the ground and stomp on their throats, they will continue to rape and pillage the WORLD public. Oh, but they won't forget to raise those banking fees for everyday Joe Public. No wonder Jamie says a $2 BILLION LOSS is not life threatening. "Just give me a few months raising fees - we'll have it all back and more!"

Re: Fixpert's Tumblog - GOD
I hate Windows so FUCKING MUCH!!!!!

This stupid fucking program gets stuck at the "windows is starting" screen and won't do anyhting. It will boot in safemode, but that's next to useless. Does ANYONE have a solution for Windows XP not booting up that does not require an IT person to do it?
