She was such an inspirational woman. My Grandmother is a big fan also and used to tape episodes about Beatrix Potter and her stories when I was young, so I sent her a copy of Miss Potter and she loved it, a movie for all ages!

Re: :: Blog Etiquette : The Good, The Bad and The (Hopefully Not Too) Ugly....

I think that comments should be kept on a positve note, and I have only had this experience myself, encouraging, motivating, thoughtful comments from lovely people! I must be a lucky one who hasnt seen the 'ugly' side of blogging.

Re: :: Truth or Dare or Warts or Spin...

This has really made me think! I do feel that I am 'me' on my blog, but must admit I do not share too much of my 'warts' , but I guess that's me anyway, I'm not one to share those sorts of things, even my closest friends tend to have to drag 'stuff' out of me! I do feel like my blog is a diary of sorts, one that I can remember the 'good' stuff that goes on in life.
It is a scary thing to be so open, you don't know how people will react, I guess that comes with being a litttle insecure, you know that silly old school yard thinking 'will they still like me', not good to be like that at 36! Yes and this is something I am aware of in myself and am trying to work on, to be confindent and say ' you know, this is me!'.
Wow I have really raved on, this has been good, I am going to try to be a bit more 'warts and all', because that is real, like it or not! aaah that feels good already, thanks Pip!

Re: :: The Crocheted Home...

Great idea! Just the other day I put my nice tidy lounge room on my blog, with my lovely op-shop crochet rugs ( wish I could crochet!).
And now I have been inspired to join flickr!

Re: :: Book Club - The Time Traveler's Wife

I've read this one!
