Similarly I have been using PNG express for quite a wile. I find it indispensable for the work that I do. It does exporting and helps creating specifications. Check it out if you have not already.

So. Two different accounts with two different sets of images? Were the accounts set up with the same information in the profile section?
Here are the things that I find strange.
1) You signed up, posted seven image and then were discovered by many important users? This is strange. Most of us when we start a new account and post seven images get no likes or no followers.
2) You mention you read some tutorials on "how to get the most out of the platform". It sounds like that that might be the common problem here. If you took advantage in the same way on both accounts... then that could have lead to the killing of your account and the photos would have nothing to do with it.
So. What tutorials did you read? Were the user profiles the same? What methods did you use to "get the most from the platform"?

In response to you second paragraph. My comments have been here for two years. Look at the dates. Your comment was made this morning. 2014-12-20 at 7:38AM EST. Mine was made 2013-01-02 at 1:17PM EST. What you are saying makes no sense. You regularly do searches to protect your photo and you have missed it for 2 years?

I am not going to respond to you again and I am ashamed in myself for communicating with you at all. You are acting as an internet troll and then getting threatening with some complete BS legal talk... Please. Like I suggested... just get over it and get on with your life.

I did not get confused.
"To perform any edits OR convert raw to JPG". Meaning that it would require another app to do EITHER edits OR converting to JPG.
The assertion is correct about edits beyond cropping but is not correct on the conversion of images from raw to JPG.

None the less, it is a great post and photo mechanic is a great application.

I believe this statement, " it does not convert RAW shots" is an error. Photo Mechanic DOES output JPGs if you would like it to.

Great photos.... seems that there could be some question about the timing of this post though. Is this post one that is a result of Williams death or is this really a coincidental discovery of the photographer?

Only the poster of the article and/or the photographer really know if this is truthful of opportunistic.

Ok. but when? My point is that this proves nothing. Even if it is a guy posting stuff like this we cannot prove where the photos used in the collages were taken.

All we have is a lot of speculation based off of where the upload happened from. That and the whole things seems almost to perfect of a mistake for someone to make.

All that the geo data says is from where the images were uploaded from. Not where all of the images in the photo groupings were taken.

All of the images used could have been taken weeks/months ago.
The whole thing seems a little to easy.

Did you go find the person in the photo? Did you ask them what they thought? Did you do anything at all to make it right? That is, IF you do feel bad about it...

Seems odd that all of the things that you seem to feel bad about are speculative. I understand that photography is quite a bit singular perspective but this whole post was nothing but a guilty "what if".

I am skeptical of this "near collision".

Can a pilot really notice such a small, slow moving thing? The airplane is moving a high rate of speed and even the biggest of the "drones" are not that big. Are there tools on the plane to detect small flying objects?

Ok. Fact. One who is trolling often posts a comment that corrects the previous poster, often about something that is not on topic... and then does not address any of the points being made previously or does not contribute to the conversation in any way.

So, I apologize for thinking that "you don't "own" software. Read the EULA." was a bit aggressive. I am also sorry that I made the mistake of not seeing what your comparison had to do with what I had previously stated. So I am sorry that you, by my definition appeared to be trolling.

Especially when I have made clear what I do have issue with. NONE of which you address.

Your last comparison makes no sense at all. It has nothing to do with what I have previously said. But lets use your example of me licensing image usage but do it like Adobe is doing:

I would have previously licensed all of my photos to be used with no end in sight for a set fee. Then I would announce that I am changing my model and if the clients want to continue to get new and improved images they will now have to pay a subscription fee that will apply to current and new photo usage. This fee will be equal to the previous licensing fee and it will be that fee every year. Though I will honor old licenses I will not support them after. Should the client want to opt out at any time they are free to do so but they loose the usage license for the time they are not paying.

As I said above. I do not like this change and am not comfortable with what I am being asked to comply with. No matter if you call it an ownership, a license, an ownership of a license, or a cat... It makes no difference. I am looking for alternatives as a result.

How about this, John.
I do not like nor feel that the new way I have to "license" the software is an acceptable one any longer. It appears that I am the only one who takes issue with having to subscribe to the use of software. And I have a HUGE problem with having to pay what use to be the cost of said software, every year.

I think my point is still the same no matter if I use the words "own" or "license". Had you not been trolling, John you might have seen the point I was making rather than focusing on my mistake in saying "own"... Even though I am correct when I say I OWN the license.

Jeff I am sorry to have upset you. That was not my intent. Nor am I complaining about lack of features of the software I currently own.

I am just stating that this model is no good for me. It segments ME from them/the software. It is not only with this change it is with Adobe's model. I want to "own" the software I use.

So, recently I updated LR it now has the ability to work with the mobile app and it was updated for newer cameras. I expect the camera updates to come, not matter that they were not there when I bought the software. I expect other updates and fixes as well. Just like any other software.

The problem I have is that they have changed the way that I interact with them as a company. I now have to subscribe to a service that holds no value to me... and If I choose to try to stay current I HAVE TO join the cloud. So with that, I saw that this is a slap in my face. As a loyal customer I dont feel that being forced into something is ok. So as a result I am looking for other solutions.

I am not angry. I am making a decision and voicing my opinion about a situation. I am sorry if it upsets you or you do not agree. It is just how I see it.
