Returns are definitely necessary for an online retailer to remain competitive.

Had no idea of the impact.

I'm not optimistic that this type of information would change consumer behavior.

Are retailers motivated enough to find a better solution for which they take full responsibility without impacting the customer?

I watched because I was visiting relatives (Democrats) who for some strange reason were watching when I walked in.

I think my nephew felt obligated to watch since he works for the State department.

We learned nothing but they were impressed by Nikki Haley.

I had hoped that Ramaswamy's intellect might appeal to my nephew but it wasn't a good night for Vivek.

If we no longer have a Republic -- and this recent election was not the election of a Republic --my heart's not in it. The question is stay and fight or use energies in another way?

Was good to see you show up, Phil. I was on my way out when you arrived and missed most of your comments. Long story how I happened upon this.

The reason the numbers and stats are important to me is that it is difficult (if even possible) to solve a problem that is incorrectly defined. So much attention being focused on the non-existent problem that could instead be focused on the real problems. Education being one of these.

You already acknowledged the issues with police that I share concern about. Senator Tim Scott's testimony before the Senate surrounding his failed justice bill was enlightening.

I know I have other ways to reach you but grabbed this opportunity. Hope you and the fam are well.

Jeff -- Really touched by this post. Yours has been a voice I have appreciated in any arena in which you have spoken up. Accessible and a great example of rational thinking and dignity to anyone regardless of political or ideological leanings. One of the reasons you are well-respected.

A commentator recently referenced the great nations that have fallen over the years and the contributing events. It was the first time that I seriously considered that the United States of America may not always exist on planet earth. Even more alarming, it was the first time that I considered that my grandchildren or great-grandchildren would not experience the opportunities and freedoms that I have enjoyed.

Typically, I am not an alarmist. In fact, some consider me to be optimistic to a fault.

A voice like yours being dimmed in any way is a sobering indicator of the times we are in.

No, it is not telling. It is a snapshot of where I happen to be at a particular point in time in the midst of exploring a topic. Notice the qualifier "as yet."

That it is telling for you helps me to understand how you make certain judgments and explains why you have accused me of making judgments that I have not made.

Notice also that I did not voluntarily bring up the CV19 topic and intentionally withheld this question in this particular setting.

My conclusion will not just be based merely on numbers. There are a myriad of factors and scenarios behind those numbers.

With regard to Trump and a pattern, no, I do not see the outcome you are suggesting as being the logical conclusion. I can see how those factors could lead to your conclusion. Someone else in this thread has suggested that you tend to form your conclusion first and then fill in the reasons. I look at a larger picture of contributing factors surrounding those factors you list. It changes the way I see the event or action. It doesn't mean that I fully disagree with you and don't have concerns, but that the overall conclusion I draw is different.

So, finally, I am done here. If one of my friends directs a comment to me, I will probably respond, but otherwise, I am done. The way that you judge Trump is how you have judged me. This shuts down the ability to have a productive conversation and, furthermore, I reject this type of toxic treatment.
