It's one thing to be an Atheist who can be respectful of the beliefs of others. It's another thing to attack someone the way you just have.

I posted this as debate worthy and would hope for a more respect worthy opinion. I also posted that I thought Albert Einstein was Jewish.

I am not a Christian. I have my own personal beliefs that I do not share with others. I understand some of your frustration with faiths, but you need to learn a better way to go about them.

No love for wordpress? Isn't Mashable run on it? Come on guys. It's free and is easy enough to use as a CMS with a great variety of plugins available AND it's easy to get a template made.

I really don't see this as your failure, nor do I think I look bad for participating. You did what people do on line. You had a goal, a concept, and pushed it. I'm kind of disappointed in Fast Company. Running a popularity contest is pointless, helping to do something good for the world never is.

There are MUCH better Ecommerce solutions out there. No offense to shopify, I like the software but it's not fleshed out enough. Check out BigCommerce, and if you need a heavier hitting cart Volusion. Both are good hosted solutions (though if you want your own BigCommerce store just check out Interspire.)

Yeah, it was a bit of a shock for me at first...and every now and then I want to chain him to our staircase so he misses the bus.
I don't entirely understand why he wants to become a Marine... I'm trying to be supportive, it's not easy and it is getting harder as it gets closer to his last day. The last show thing has been the hardest so far.

I agree, that's such a stupid reason to scrap a project. It's not like the iPad so you won't do it? I thought the Courier was a great idea, and it's the first MSFT thing I've been excited for it a long time. This is just really pathetic. Why innovate or be creative when you can just try to copy, way to go microsoft.

My Moms friends accounts all got hit with something via facebook messages last week. Sadly she clicked a link and now is having computer trouble. It's not just in the news feed but is via email too.

I think it's due to social media becoming much more a part of mainstream news. I agree on having noticed a change in the type of content posted here, but they kinda have to cover it as it is related. It's not like they don't publish quality content anymore.

I really think it is, but I also think companies would prefer most websites didn't work for their employees as a tool to force them to focus on work.
IF the world were to band together to kill IE6 (yes that does sound cheesy) I think the only way to do it would be refuse service through search. If every major search engine killed IE6 users they would be forced to upgrade. Now who ever can convince any search engine to cut that kind of market share...

As nice as it would be to see IE6 go away, Diggs article was about most IE6 users not having a choice. (Users at work) But, by hacking up your sites for IE6 users you perpetuate the issue. As more and more businesses STOP pandering to the browser companies using it will eventually be forced to upgrade.
Because it's companies controlling the majority of the users behind that browser I doubt we'll be rid of it anytime soon.

Don't know if they're trying to mimic blink as much. They've never seemed to have that edge, it's always been toned down to a "close but not really" thing.
