theres a reason why when valve release a game its remembered for years to come, hell half life is STILL one of the best FPS available today after how many years?
counter strike is one of the most played games online STILL after how many years?

every single time valve release a game it gets nominated for GOTY theres a reason for that.

yeah that was completley hilarious!
gearbox studios giving valve flack for not supporting the PS3 when the ps3 version of borderlands is FUCKED!
i had so many issues with borderlands on the ps3 ranging from corrupt game data, to corrupt saved data TWICE I LOST MY SAVE DATA 20 HOURS DOWN THE DRAIN!

i mean seriously, guys, if your going to give someone flack about something make sure your doing a excelling job yourself.

its not for sales, there just spending more time polishing the game.
and judging by the latest IGN preview it needs it, apparently there was allot of bugs.
but why the %$#% would you wait till 2 weeks before release date to set back your game?
sorry obsidian i dont mind when games get delayed to improve quality, but when they do so just 2 weeks before release really pisses me off.

no, they did not.
uncharted 2s story is so easy to follow.
you understand the story, who the characters are and what there play in the game is.
MGS4 (only one ive played) i had absolutely no idea what the hell was going on there.
who the characters are, or what they had to do with the story.
whats there purpose.
not to mention the 40 minute videos.
i want to PLAY my games not watch them.
nothing gives you the experience that uncharted 2 does.

i think its quite obvious why.

1 its 50 bucks cheaper than the ps3, 150 bucks dearer than the psp 3000 AND IT HAS LESS!!!!!
i pay more for more not more for less.
the wireless adapter in there is soooooooooooooooooooo OLD!!!!!!
wireless B?????? are you kidding??????
my laptop is 3 years old this is BRAND NEW and this has older tech than my laptop.
my laptop only cost me 500 bucks too.

2 no UMD drive, not everyone has ADSL2+ speed internet.
what would you choose, spend 30 minutes driving to the store and back, or spend 4+ hours to download a game.
also download usage, not everyone has a 50GB download usage, im only on 5 my self, as far as i know each psp game is roughly 1GB so 5 games and thats it im over.

3 its ugly as hell, and sits aquard in the hands. i held one on the day of release to see if i want to buy it and after 20 minutes of playing with it my hands started cramping.

4 the buttons are in such a awkward spot and there is some serious balancing issues.
holding it at the bottom how your suppose to the screen is so heavy it tilts the device back and your likely to drop it.

5 price for games.
because its download only theres no buying used games, theres no trading in old games.
also sony can charge what ever they want for the games, ATM most of them on the PSN store are dearer than what EB has them for brand new.

sony have lost allot of money and are scrambling trying to make it back without spending any and its really showing with this and the ps3 slim.
both are no improvement over their previous besides size (big whoop!), and there not thought out well and feel cheap as chips.
they feel and look like cheap 2 dollar chinese knock offs.

but it is your fault PlatinumGames your the ones making the game its your job to say sega no this is not good enough.
come release day if the ps3 version is not up to scratch im not buying it, thats fine if your to lazy to bring up the quality than im to lazy to play it and spend my hard earned cash on it.
lazy developers are really starting to piss me off lately and we have the wii to thank.
because of that developers think they can make crappy cheap games and make millions of it.
how much time and money do you think went into wii fit?
and thats sold like 12 million copies!!!!!!!!!!!!

they canceled 8 days because sony UK wanted to focus its team on eyepet.
that is why im really pissed off with sony UK and will never ever ever be buying another one of their games.
there just giving into the motion cow, they see the wii selling like hotcakes so they release this as a tide over till their vibrating dildo releases.
they had 2 MASSIVE!!!! games they would of been fu***ng awesome.
you think GTAIV is good?
take GTAIV make it 100000000000000000000000 times better and your still not close to the quality of 8 days.
that had so much penitential they really pissed me off when canceling it.
i think they will continue working on it once eyepets out, but thanks to that childish gay shit i have to wait a few more days for my proper GTA killer.

for windows 7 to succeed it has to do 4 things.
1 be reliable and easy to use, easy to find things, easy to customize things and have them where you want.

2 it has to reduce its hardware footprint.
i can run programs/ games and get a better result on XP than vista.
now thats pathetic!

3 it has to be cheap and easy to upgrade.
and they have already failed in that, reading articles on the net most people have said it takes almost a day to upgrade from vista to windows 7.
WTF? 24 hours? im sorry i dont have 24 hours to waste, time is money.
and cheap? well i went down to Harvey Norman today looking for a new laptop and the guy told me to wait, because once windows 7 is out laptops will come with that.
i asked him how much the windows 7 ultimate (i think thats what its called or PRO) and he told me 700 AUD.
700 bucks for a bloody OS?
no wonder so many people pirate it, thats a bloody rip off.
i think i will stick to XP thanks.

4 i has to have programs compatible for it.
the company i work for has not upgraded because 20+ programs they use will not work with vista.
me myself have been un able to find a C compiler to run with vista 64 bit.
anyone know of a C Compiler that will work properly with vista 64 bit?
i have googgled it and have found many programs that "work with vista 64 bit" but once i install them it either wont install or comes up with the message "this program is not compatible with 64 but, you must install the 64 bit version"

so they have already failed in price, but 1 out of 4 aint too bad.

wish i could say the same.
i see 20 nintendo DSI adds, 10 nintendo wii adds and 10 M$ 360 adds per day.
but im lucky if i see 1 ps3 add per month.
seriously im still 6 months after release im STILL seeing adds for halo wars.
to this day ive seen what 4 killzone 2 adds, compare to at least 100 halo wars adds.
that is why well 1 of the reasons why the 360 is kicking the ps3s a$$ hre these days.
other reason being whats available in the US is available EVERYWHERE!!!
none of this sorry thats only available in the US B$ that sony loves to do.
perfect example.
where are my limited editions for infamous, KZ2, resistance 2?
where are my guides/ walkthroughs for said games?
also xbox 360 exclusives normally get a worldwide release date.
like halo wars, or halo ODST, or gears 2.

i dont know about you, but i would rather have 10 good games, than 1 million bad ones, and theres only 4 good games on the aps store.
terminator salvation, duke nukem 3D, resident evil 4 and crash CTR.
all of those are remakes of older games.
name 1 game that originated on the iphone, almost every game available on the iphone is also on the 360 or ps3 or pc or psp or wii or DS.
god apple are so up themselves its not funny, not as much as M$ but close.

what happened to the good old days where company's use to say were better because we offer this this and this, not were better because we have more games than so and so.

not saying that i dont like R&C i love it and its one of my favorite series but its not for everyone and its not as big a game as LA Noire, or quantum theory for that fact.

i hate motion controls and i hope they dont replace the controllers and start making motion controller games.
i dont care if they treat the motion control thing like they did with eye toy but i wish they would not go down that route, i want more proper next gen games, were missing out on 8 days and the getaway because of eyepet which is a motion controller game.
thats whats wrong with the industry these days, someone does something they become famous and make a tun of money off it so rival companys follow suit.
wheres the individuality?
nintendo come out with the WII they kick the crap out of the ps3 and 360 in sales, so M$ and sony follow suit and copy nintendo bringing out their own motion controller.
50 bucks says if a law was passed tomorrow saying if a company invents something no other company can use it, the industry would be dead broke within weeks.
everyone is coppying everyone for fucks sake how about some diversity.
if i want motion controls ill buy a WII if i want normal control with games like 8 days ill buy a PS3.

sorry im just really excited i love the GOW series.
as for other ps2 remakes its possiable, but i wouldent hold my breath it costs sony quite a fair bit of cash and time to do this so they have to ask the question is it worth it?
will we make a profit worth while?
if the answers a guaranteed yes than they might do it, otherwise they wont.
but i doubt they will do many of these, just to costly and time consuming.
