There's plenty of checkpoints in the first 10 hours of gameplay. There's only 1 main one in the 1st initial major section of the game however.

Re: How and Why Bloodborne Lost Me

Exactly.

Re: How and Why Bloodborne Lost Me

He probably hasn't tried Co-op yet. I love Co-op, it rewards teamwork, but that's just me.

Re: How and Why Bloodborne Lost Me

You'll die a lot if you're feeling unlucky or if you don't pay attention or if you're too careless. You'll die when you start backing yourself into corners such that you'll get trapped by your enemies. You'll die if you accidentally maneuver around edges and cliffs, or near ladders, you could fall off.

Bosses you may or may not die, depending or not if you fight the Boss solo or with a team. It's possible to kill bosses the 1st time around with summoned "Cooperatives".

Re: Bloodborne Review in Progress

I agree man, I don't understand all the hate. And yeah the Music is Amazing I've always placed the Souls Soundttracks as the top best VG soundtracks of all-time after ff6 and ff7 and maybe Chrono Trigger, so I value the music very very highly. It's my current King atm and can't praise it enough.

Re: Bloodborne Review in Progress

I mean like a little string line or atmospheric pad that you wouldn't hear I mean, not like music music.

Re: Bloodborne Review in Progress

Yeah I know/knew that, it's part of the charm. I got it, I'm talking like every 5 min or so maybe a little something, but not something you'd notice. I'm a musician/composer so that's why I realize it. But it feels more extreme this time around versus Dark Souls and Demon Souls, not sure why.

Re: Bloodborne Review in Progress

Yeah I know that, I played the Souls games. I think this time it feels even more barren, which is good.

Re: Bloodborne Review in Progress

Does anybody else think the game could of used a tiny bit more music during the normal roaming gameplay, especially in the first few hours? Just a tiny incy bit, I enjoy the atmosphere and lack of music for the most part.

Re: Bloodborne Review in Progress

Evil Within and Mass Effect have huge Fps chopping and dropping.

Re: Bloodborne Review in Progress

I don't notice any fps drops in the first 2-3 hours or so.
