Obama is over his head and skills in so many ways. He has surrounded himself with like minded people. Trained as academics his staff is very short on real life experience. None have run a business. Few have served in the military. Obama insults long time allies, like Britian and Israel, and tries to make nice with tyrants in Iran. Obama's policies in Asia are confused at best and ineffective at worse. His dreams of a socialist and more fair America have resulted in more divisiveness between classes and races. Obamas policies have driven more than 7 million Americans to giving up looking for work. Obama has a visceral hatred of fossil fuels, does everything he can to prevent fossil fuel exploration and development while at the sametime bragging about his energy policies and Americas growing energy independence. Independence growing by the work and investment of private companies working in the face of Obmama imposed regulations.

I have been using a Surface Pro 2 for a while and it is a useful computer with the portability of a tablet.
Microsoft's keyboard with the magnetic attachment and backlighting make is the best tablet keyboard out. The Surface Pro is a business and fun capable tablet/ultraportable!

Common sense has all but dissappeared and political correctness is ruining our nation. Facts support that women have more opportunites in the United States than any other nation.

NK would have to miniturize their nukes first. Most nukes by new powers a large and heavy. The processes to produce mini-nukes that be placed in a warhead or in NKs case a satellite would need a level of technology the NKs have yet to demonstrate. Any NK rocket launch has a better chance of failing shortly after launch than achieving a stable orbit. EMP is a threat to be sure, There are other nations who are far more cabable of mounting an EMP attack than the North Korean's.

CNN, like much of the MSM was desperate to get anything to do getting Obamacare out of the headlines. The more flight 370 was in the news the less time the network had to give to bad news on the Obamacare failure.

Going MH370 all the time and overtime was CNN's solution.

If American troops were not stationed in South Korea, perhaps there would be one Korea today. Under the style of rule in the north. The Chinese would have encouraged the North to invade the South. By providing aid, support and a willingness to support freedom in South Korea, the United States and the world have all gained from the growth of freedom, economic development and the unique culture that is part of South Korea. The north is locked in an ancient and dying marxist society. Only the PRC keeps the north from falling in ruin.

Several people have mentioned the South Korea is a center for cosmetic surgery. This is true, and many women, along with a few men now travel to Korea from all over the world. S. Korea has move cosmetic surgery done to it's people than any other nation. The Korean's appear to have jumped on board in what they percieve to be beautiful. If one is not born a certian way, then you can find a surgeon who can make you look are certain way and as you get older, undo some or most of the signs of aging.
Bottom line, cosmetic surgery is a personal choice. Some people are never secure as to who they are. Some want acceptance and recognition from as many as possible. Others are happy as they are, knowing thier own value comes from within, not from any physcial asset.

I agree with J Crane and others commenting here. I have been using Windows since 3.1 and 3.11. Microsoft products simply work. MS Office has matured and revolutionized the way business does business. Excel and Access brought powerful computing and number crunching abilities to anyone who takes the time to learn how to use those tools.
PowerPoint, love it or hate PP, is still the presentation platform of choice. With the latest version of PowerPoint, it is more able to present more types of information than ever.
Microsoft might be a slow learner once and while, and sure MS has created a few real pieces of junk, but those products quickly fail and fade away. What Microsoft creates and and works well, grows, expands capabilities and enables business and communications to to achieve new heights.
Paperless office, not there yet, but Word, OneNote and Outlook are edging us ever closer.

How do you like the Note II? I have enjoyed the larger screen and fast perfomance. My carrier is a 4G LTE network and the speeds leave 3G connections way slow.
Depending on lighting the video is quite good except in very low light. The fixed camera works well as long as one pays attention to the scene and light settings. I found out the hard way that choosing the best setting for the lighting can be the difference between snapshot quality, (low-poor) to good qualtiy worth sharing on FB or Picassa.

Rose, My first visit to your site. Started reading about your fitness first training and really like your dedication to fitness and wanting to share this passion with others.
About that HTC One. Most often your cell provider should just exchange to malfuncitioning phone for a new one. OTOH the Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note II, (my phone) and the new Note III have quite good cameras and bigger screens that work well for a male with larger hands.
Great blog, many more posts for me to get caught up with!

How is this Boehner's shutdown? Boehner and the Republican's have offered several proposals worth comprimising on. The President and the Democrats have decided that only the winning side has the final word.
Since when did the minority party get left out of the decision making process. Since Obamacare was passed, that's how long. The President granted Congress and congressional staffers generous subsidies because lower payed staffers would suffer.
What makes a congressional staffer more important than the citizen's of Washington D.C. or surrounding suburbs civilian populace? Many residents in the D.C. area make $30-45K and will get either little or no subsidy for thier Obamacare plans. Congressional staffers are given 75% subsidies why? Are these staffers an elite class of worker whose work is so important?
Perhaps CNN has forgotten that the congress men and women who are big R Republican's won elections to represent American citiizen's too! The President is leader of all American, not just those in his party.
In all other shutdown's the President and the opposition have negotiated a compromise, BHO has lead by grandstanding, why does no one at CNN mention his lack of leading when he needs to lead. BHO is President, not leader for life.

Most of LWs statements are correct, some in fact have become worse over the last few months. Few have improved.
Food Stamp use is at an all time high. Gas prices are still high, and more fulltime, aka 40 hour workers, are being cut to 29.5hrs or less in order for many companies to not be required providing health care insurance for full-time employees.
