I think the problem with your math is that you are assuming people are variables and not absolutes. I think that people are more like prime numbers, that is unique and non-divisible (except by 1 of course) and whole.

Let's say that you are 7 and one of the girls is 3 (because c'mon Jordy, you are obviously more awesome than she is!) The two of you get together and find that magic place where everything comes together and you get love... the big plus sign. Love adds you up and now you are a perfect 10! The both of you together are now a completely different number, still together, but now unfortunately divisible.

Eventually something will happen and she will leave you dividing your once perfect 10 into two separate and completely average 5s.

Of course the real problem with applying math to love, is that there really is no logic to love, and if you try to apply it, all you will get is representatives that fall short somehow, or comedy about three way sex, or both http://wiki.answers.com/Q/W...
