I have known Mr. Miller for many years, and in that time have come to know him professionally as a man of integrity, good intention, and thoughtfulness in his position as First Selectman. It seems that people commenting here are on a witch hunt looking for any trivial reason to skewer Phil. As Mr. James comments, your First Selectman has done some great things for your town. Is there nothing more serious to skewer Mr. Miller about than the fact he paid for some cop's gas to pick up a dog? Come on, now.......maybe that's a testament to what a great job Mr. Miller is doing if that dog issue is all you have to pick him apart for. Talk about real issues and drop the pettiness. Y'all are lucky to have Mr. Miller at the helm. He's a hard worker and loves the town he leads and lives in.
