If you are a linux user, you can use this utility to schedule your posts using cron jobs. That's the biggest use case I see.

‘__utmb’ use the count 10 to track session. After every outbound click, its value decreases by one. So, when it reaches 0, Google Analytics creates a new session for that visitor.

Ultimately, your visitor count increments by one.

The main motive behind writing this post was to have an insight about technology stacks of websites having a large user base and finding few trends that can be used by small companies.

I've tried to include as much sites as possible, but still I guess few big names got missed out. The charts drawn represent distribution of technologies of websites ONLY mentioned in the article and NOT the overall percentage of all the sites.

There are other sites which have high user base and scalability but, either information was not available on internet or I was not aware of 'em. If you know such websites please mention them along with technologies used.
