Excellent point! Remember, CPS is a government agency and the words "government" and "intelligent" do not even belong in the same sentence. I hadn't even thought about it being a volunteer agency, just that they rubberstamp anything that CPS wants, regardless of what's in the actual best interest of the child. Sorry but it doesn't break my heart that they're gonna be fewer baby stealers out there.

Hey, does this mean that CPS will stop legally kidnapping and selling 50% of our nation's children as well? If so, that's fantastic news and it's about time too. CPS sucks and if you think they don't, just wait until they come knockin' on your door and we'll just see who screams the loudest. They are THE most corrupt, evil, out of control agency in the world and our government, in its infinite wisdom, puts CPS in charge of children. Can anybody say the word "OXYMORON" here?

CPS is corrupt and out of control everywhere these days. There is no money for leaving children in their real homes and they don't want the abused children because they're not very marketable. They want the healthy, genetically sound, blonde-haired, blue-eyed variety as they bring in the most money. Then they get Title IV-E funding and the adoption bonus money. They'll slap as many "special needs" label on them as they can because they get additional money for those. CPS needs to be abolished NOW before another family is ruined.

Another stolen child. How much money did the state get out of her adoption? $4,000? $6,000? How much is the foster/adopt care providers getting for her each month? Are they driving a brand new car, living in a brand new, 1/4 M home? How big is the grant that CASA gets for having these children adopted out? It's always only about the money. You talk about the parents and grandparents not giving up so easily well GOOD FOR THEM. They should have found...and won!

Thank God he's okay. This is the first I've heard that he was missing. I guess he's not that important since he's just another throw-away kid as far as the state's concerned. What I want to know is why the press isn't crucifying the female foster care provider like they would be doing if it was a biological mother or father. I don't see where CPS has been notified or even if the child's CASA/GAL or case worker was notified. Conservative statistics say that children are 11 times more likely to be abused, 7 times more likely to die, and 28 times more likely to be sexually abused while in foster care than in their real homes. So who was really protecting this child? It certainly wasn't the foster "mom" or his CPS worker. I'm thinking that the only one who really cared that he was missing was his real mom and dad. This is just too sad and I'm sick of foster children dying or going missing. Foster care is NOT the answer. CPS is corrupt and so is the foster care system. They only do it for the money.

OMG, this is utterly ridiculous. CPS found a newborn and found a way to get their meathooks into it. There is no chance whatsoever that this woman will ever get her child back. White newborns are hard to come by but this one is "white enough" I guess to draw in the big bucks on the foster/adopt black market! Now, if an attorney there has b*** enough to go up against this insane, corrupt, out-of-control agency pro bono, my faith in humans MIGHT be restored. Give this woman her child back! How dare they do this!!!!!!!!!

This is so disgusting. I am a parental rights activist and women like her set our cause back so far. Why would anyone do this to their child? I cannot even begin to understand what her reasoning for doing this would be. I hope she pays dearly for this crime against her kids. This is sick, twisted and perverted. It's mothers like her that give CPS agencies fuel for fire. If one mother does it, all the rest must do it too.
