I am also curious. Like setting up prepaid system for years ahead for minimum no. of domains. Or keeping mirrors on something like wordpress.com, whose chances of a life extend beyond human time. keeping images separate from text, text is easier to host and serve, because size. Setting up digital will, two three friends get keys to the content one wants to live for years. Gmail has this program, where they transfer access.

Why need for a server? A simple static site works from the public folder, with only domain mapping needed. I like the idea immensely though.

wow no comments? or do you delete them? moderation? strange that you didn't get any responses to this post! i know dave has switched comments off, there were a few who did that before him like matt gemmel, mg seigler and many others!

so who did it first apple,dave or google? i used google's screen saver using photo feeds from the web back in 2005! didn't know about apple or dave's contribution to it!

also i couldn't understand that statement in ALSO NOTE!

true both these UI's are not better than their previous versions gmail is good though in one way it has not yet completely forced it's new UI you can always revert back to old look temporarily and gmail has kept features like basic HTML and standard view turn chat on/off but twitter has forced it's new UI allover and hasn't left any simpler versions i believe it's ver .01 should have been kept as is and could be toggled between newer and basic UI! but then these are free web apps that we use so our control is not much of a use

not everybody uses twitter for feeding their blog content to the twitter world! you do! i think you should rely on seo etc to earn absolute points than to rely on twitter etc for traffic! it's just you who have build a house of cards around twitter if i am wrong do point it out!

i think it shouldn't be made into a regular/standard feature by anyone whether it is wordpress/octopress/blogger or whatever or it's the commenting system co.s like disqus/intensedebate etc, i think there should be a provision to limit the comments to a certain limit but then again there should be endless commenting whether it is blogs or forums! thanks for the piece but i don't understand how stallman came into all of this sorry for the comment being long!

wonderful to see your blog in WordPress, it's a great piece of software with active support! sometime ago i suggested that you use custom permalink structure {with post title in it} but i now know why you wouldn't use such! maybe because you don't need mere visits but quality readers! even now i would say you should reconsider that because average user would find you easily via Google then but i saw some 17,500 posts of your indexed on Google! great new simple design based on twenty ten! without header i like it :) para level links are missing you can install winerlinks on wordpress too, like you had it earlier!

here is something i have came across while searching for bugs in music app a user recently reported this as a 'defect' on Google Android issues site here's the permalink to that post http://code.google.com/p/an... what he has mentioned is that you have to remove & reinsert the sd card after adding music to it that music app was able to find the music is there an option to refresh library in the default music app? use that or try removing sd card and reinserting it some other user too reported it as an issue but no useful information has he mentioned in his posts here at

have you considered the possibility that the music app might not be picking the podcasts because of howthey were encoded, various codecs are used to encode the mp3s so there could be the reason that the native music player app is not picking up the files try encoding them to lossless forms after you download them or maybe LAME or FLAC or try using ogg format since i believe the android app should support these, i would let you know after i get my SDK up and running thanks!

http://www.facebook.com/500... it's 14 days they give you and instruct you not to sign in during this period otherwise you might get activated on facebook again! and i need to clear one thing i am no expert on facebook or even remotely like it i created and deleted my account several times {3-4} in this year {2011} i never had any presence on facebook earlier than this above mentioned period of activity...in other news facebook suicide was committed by several well known figures after facebook folks changed privacy policy earlier this year

they {twitter} have a "hide" option for promoted tweets appearing your timeline there should be similar option to what appears in relies timeline!

there should be an option to permanently hide a particular tweet and it's visibility to the user however deleting from the replies tab is not an option that twitter can provide blocking doesn't solve it
