Hi, you can try something like this:
mailto:<email>?cc=<cc email="">&subject=<url encoded="" subject="">&body=<url encoded="" body="">
e.g.
mailto:someone@example.com?...

Note that this might not work for all scanners and phones, but it worked with optiscan and i-nigma for the iPhone.

Hey Peter, that's a really good point and we have had many discussions about this. We definitely see the potential value of what you propose and the main issue at hand is resources and priorities.

It looks like I may have not responded to your previous questions about google's spec. There is obviously some overlap between what they have noted and our implementation, but even as they have documented there are some ambiguities as to what they have seen. I'm not going to dive in to the semantics of each scenario, but there are definitely some overlap and some differences.

Hey Peter, that's a great question. Our encoding conventions are not
published at the moment and the reason is not because its a secret, but it
is a rather because of the limitations of the QR Code space. We
consistently monitor and look at all the most relevant encoding specs and
update our system to automatically use them. This way, anyone using our
APIs do not have to worry about changes or what's the right way to encode a
url as you have just described.

We don't have any extra resources at the moment to consistently publish the
latest specs for all the different codes we make as the list is quite
extensive and our current internal documentation contains a lot extra
information that would not be suitable for public consumption.

We'd be happy to have TWiki use our APIs to generate codes for users.

Yes, but not at the moment. We have a very large data set of scan traffic
and we would want to make sure that we are objective enough to extract
useful data for the interested industries.

Hello Lufthy,

We currently do not support vcard with multiple addresses or emails. However, you can create a vcard with a mobile and telephone number. Just use the "tel" and "mobile" parameters.

Our API does not support this at the moment. However, you can change URLs for QR Codes that you create through one of the free accounts. Just sign in or create a new account to access this functionality.

Currently we do not offer the option of installing our API on another server and we are not planning to have it as an option anytime soon. You are more than welcome to reference our API. We continually make updates and enable new features through our API so by referencing it, you will always be able to take advantage of our latest code.

We have been doing some testing and found that the best free reader app for the blackberry is the newly released Blackberry Messenger 5.0 with its built in scanner. We have a mobile page that you can access on your phone and base on your phone type, it will auto-detect and redirect you to install a reader that will work best with your phone - http://www.mskynet.com/reader

Thank you for using our API and we are glad go hear that you like it. Feel free to use it to sell items or do any other activities with this technology. There are currently no fees for using this tool. The only condition we ask is that you do not alter or remove the logo and icon as the purpose of the the icon is to let people know what call-to-action the barcode will produce once it is scanned. Once you start to use our tool and would like to see more metrics - let us know and we can discuss the analytical services that we offer. Overall, have a blast with our tool. We would love to continue to hear of how you use our API. Please do keep us in the loop.
