Reddit was never this. They now admit they built the site with a large number of internally controlled sock puppet accounts. It's a literal astro-turf sock puppet farm from day 1. I was banned from another subreddit years ago for expressing a perfectly rational opinion about something. Left and never looked back.

I don't really have a dog in this fight. BTC transaction fees are high and liquidity is a problem, but it's just one implementation. Think of it like savings vs checking accounts.

You're contradicting yourself. The built in limit IS part of the scarcity, as is the difficulty. Scarcity exists both in terms of how fast coins can be mined, and how many can exist.

Even if whales (Satoshi) dumped everything it's still not going to zero, bc whales do not hold an infinite amount of coins.
