Loved this episode, especially the end to see Luke start off shaky when given the opportunity on Senior Night, only to get get things together for the win. Also really thought it was great that they used that Ted Leo song “Woke Up In Chelsea” during the final game, it really added to the intensity of it all, without being distracting. Tap Tap keeps getting better with every release. I'm an especially big fan of the addition of the indie channels, as it gives us indie fans access to lots of songs that I was pleasantly surprised to have...but it also came with some great major artists, too. Some of my favorites in the game are Florence + the Machine, Tokyo Police Club, Thrice, Attack, Attack, Stars, Justice, Middle Distance Runner, Shapes of Race Cars, Minus the Bear, Earl Greyhound, and Ra. good job guys.

I think the highlight of the night was definitely when Jose Gonzalez played “Far Away” from Dead Read Redemption in front of a screen showing the game…that game was my favorite of the year and the song just fit the era and mood of it so well. great episode that had excellent pacing. I thought the scene at the end when Jax confronted Kellan was great - sets up the next episode well, and also really makes you feel conflicted when it comes to Jax's son's future. It was perfect that they used "Even While You're Sleeping" by the Acorn during that scene, the song is so moody and evocative that it fit perefect. After having to wait since June for this to come out on consoles, I was more than eager to play. Finally, there is a good port of this game that doesn't sacrifice a lot of the functionality of the PC version. Also, loved the music and how they had some bands record songs in "Simlish" - I was especially happy to hear a Simlish version of "Stand Tall" by The Dirty Heads.

I always wanted Varsity Blues to be turned into a TV show (like they did with Friday Night Lights)...Blue Mountain State is now filling that void. Loved the first two episodes, which were full of some great raunch and laughs. Especially loved the QB 'duel' ("somebody shoot someone!") and Mary Jo's make out with Sammy...good times. also loved that they used the song "Roll to the Party" by Jet Stream...so appropriate.

Glad to finally see a Need For Speed on Wii that feels like it was actually developed for Wii. While I’m not sure how much replay value this will have for me long-term, in the short-term it’s providing some great, thrill-a-minute fun…I love how intense the speed feels in this game and overall I just enjoy playing an arcadey style racing game better than a realistic sim.

Also, props to EA for a great soundtrack, especially for the inclusion of Earl Greyhound’s “Oye Vaya” – it’s the perfect driving song

What a great episode...Tight writing, believable acting (without over-acting, which would be really easy to do with a series like this) and some real heartfelt moments that didn't seem forced...I'm loving it.

I love how the Opie story line is taking shape, and can't wait to see where it goes from here. Also, I loved that they used the Two Gallants song "Fly Low Carrion Crow" - it's the song that plays when Piney is at his house and holding the gun in his hand...such a great 'Americana' tune that fits the show perfectly. Here's hoping that the switch in time slots will help Cold Case stick around longer, because the show is still going strong. I thought the most recent episode, "Read Between The Lines" was as good as anything they've ever done, and thought Zeb and Donalyn were excellent characters.

I also really liked that they played MC Lyte’s “Act Like You Know” when Zeb took Donalyn to her audition – really fit the whole scene (lyrically and musically) well. The scene is on YouTube at : http://www.youtube.com/watc...

Geez, some of you guys are really quick to jump all over a kid. Personally, I think Powe should be commended for all the adversity he has fought through. As for his comments about not being able to read the citation, I think it's safe to say you can chalk that up to him being a kid and just trying to avoid trouble...come on, who didn't get a noise violation for a party in college and then try to sidestep it? This isn't Oklahoma State circa 1970, I'm positive Powe has learned how to read by now...

Anyway, I've been following Powe in this great documentary series that focuses on the rivalry between his high school (West Jones) and another team. If you haven't seen Head To Head, I'd highly recommend...very Friday Night Lights-esque, complete with the player's real stories, two charismatic head coaches, and some great music (The Album Leaf's song "Enchanted Hill" is used multiple times in this series, and it's a lot like Explosion in the Sky were used in Friday Night Lights).

This show has definitely picked it up this season. The first season I mostly watched because I thought it was such a cool concept, but now the stories are getting more interesting and personal, and the writing is definitely much tighter. I thought “Truth or Consequences” was a great episode.

I loved the college party scene, it was one of the more accurately depicted party scenes I’ve seen in a TV show or movie…it actually looked real, like it’s a party you could stumble upon at the nearest frat house. Loved Ria’s response to when Cal asked her if she was drunk – great little character interplay.

Also, I was pretty stoked to hear Bijou’s “Bang” bumping in the background – a perfect party track for the scene…its one of those dance/party tracks that gets pumps the adrenaline without being obnoxious. You can watch the whole party scene at : http://www.dailymotion.com/...

Good overall soundtrack, but it had some startling exclusions...why not use "Jennifer's Body" by Hole?

They left off some awesome songs that were actually in the movie like “Sacre Couer” by It Dies Today, and I think that might be because they’re trying to aim this at teen girls and that song, cool as it is, might be deemed too heavy by the corporate dudes. Lame. I guess I'll just have to make my own mixtape version of the soundtrack.

Still, kickass movie that has the right mixture of gore, camp, and dark humor, and there are still a number of great tunes on the official soundtrack.

I’ve been playing NFS for over 10 years, and I think this is the best edition yet…the cockpit cam is great, and the physics are amazing. This is my first NFS on a next-gen system, and I’m blown away by the realism. Some of the crashes might be a little too intense to be real, but that's part of the fun in gaming.

Also nice to see a good soundtrack, I was thrilled that they used Rootbeer’s “Under Control” – that’s definitely an awesome under-the-radar jam. Video can be found at : http://displacedbrett.wordp...

Geez, I'm still not tired of playing the first round of tracks (the jump between easy and medium is STEEP) and now they've released even more tunes...they're killing my productivity.

I thought it was awesome they had "Come My Sunshine" by The Comas and "The Unbeliever" by Middle Distance Runner in this wave of new additions, both are really cool songs and "The Unbeliever" in particular has an awesome music video (which can distract you from gameplay, but still....cool nonetheless.)

Haha, gotta love seeing Michael Cera with a mustache. Regardless of how one-dimensional Cera may be, he’s hilarious in the awkward teen role, and I except another great movie here.I haven’t read the book, but tons of friends have been nagging me about it forever, so now I’m glad I can get this story in 2 hours as opposed to finding the time to read.

Also thought it was awesome that they used “Timebomb” by Old 97’s at the end of the trailer. great song.

Haha, this movie looks hilarious. Now I won't have to read the book (cross that off the 'bucket list'). I don't care if Cera can only play one type of character, he's great at it. Can't wait for this flick.

Great also to hear The Old 97's song "Timebomb" at the end of the trailer. Been a fan a long time, glad to hear them getting some love!

Thanks for posting these clips, I definitely got a good laugh out of them - Apatow always delivers some comic gold. However, I am curious as to what he can do with some more serious subject matter. I am actually 100% confident that Sandler will shine in this roll – loved him in Reign Over Me and Punch Drunk Love, but Apatow choosing to cross over beyond just flashes of seriousness (which all his works have), is new territory for him. So long as the film relies more on Sandler than Apatow-buddy Rogen, I think it will turn out.

So far the trailers, which are great, seem to emphasize the comedic aspects, but I am more interested in how well the drama is fleshed out. I guess they want to make sure their bread and butter fratboy crowd see the movie. We’ll see. I did think it was cool that, in typical Apatow fashion, the TV trailer features a great song – “Ain’t That Strange” by Rhett Miller – wouldn’t be surprised at all if this ended up pulling a “Paper Planes” and getting huge from this movie alone.

Just watched the premiere of The TO Show last night, and I actually thought it was a pretty funny look into everyone’s favorite narcissist. It’s like an accident that you know you shouldn’t look at, but you can’t turn away from.

Definitely worth watching, even if it was obviously scripted…just too much comedy gold. And surprisingly enough, they actually had some good music, like Tokyo Police Club’s “Graves” – and here I thought that VH1 and MTV totally dropped music from their channels.
