Its Google Adwords. You bid on search terms and only pay when someone clicks on the ad. Cost depends on competition for those terms. "Oil spill" is only costing about $3.00 right now, but other searches, "oil spill lawyer" cost $12-14/click. The thing to keep in mind is that with this kind of attention, they could be easily be spending $100,000 - 200,000 / day for these paid clicks.

Great choice on part of McCain. And timing could not have been better, as this steals the spotlight from the Dems going into a long weekend.

Obama got absolutely no movement in the polls following his announcement for VP. Will be interesting to see what happens following McCain's announcement.

Wow! What a waste. Although I rarely agreed with the opinions expressed by the ML crew, I really enjoyed the debate. I found this website shortly after it first launched and was a daily visitor for over 3 months. Then they began to leave videos up for days at a time. Then they began to re-post old videos. Then, well the people stopped showing up, I guess.

This is the third time I have stopped by over the last month and a half. Each time, I found a re-post/re-cut of an older piece. I won't be back any more.

Guess the CBS execs can't appreciate a good thing when they have it. Sure, they likely weren't pulling in the big bucks yet, but these things take time.

I havent been by to check on your posts since you started reposting the same stuff over and over. It's been a few months now, and I missed you guys. Thought I would check back in to see how things are going.

Apparently, it seems that you are still regurgitating the same old stuff (http://www.moblogic.tv/vide... over and over again. It's a shame because you guys seemed to be growing very fast when you were updating daily.

If I were a Frenchy, I would be very upset that the government spends $53 Billion on the military. Considering that there military policy consists of three options, that seems like alot of money to be wasting.

Guessing the same people that stated they are against plural marriages would also be against same sex marriage. I imagine these people have a very specific preconceived notion that a marriage is a union between one woman and one man. Anything outside of this "norm" is wrong by default.

Having multiple wives. Who cares? If it is consensual.

Now, the abuse of children through sexual abuse DBA "forced marriage" is an entirely different matter and this should not be tolerated.

Big fan of 60 minutes. Can you dig up the episode that featured us discussing the failure of the FDA to protect its citizens from the drug companies?

Would be timely, considering the impending $4.85B Vioxx settlement and the steps the current President is taking to shield the drug companies from any and all liability.

Dr. David Graham testified before congress that this single drug (Vioxx) may be responsible for killing 80,000 people.

Unfortunately, I have gotten into the habit of coming here in the morning after scanning the headlines on CNN.com. I read their headlines, then came here and watched today's post.

I'll say it again, this is news, but it does not concern me.

This may be a surprise, but the reason I come back to ML every day is for the fresh perspective on far-reaching issues. Issues like war in Iraq, guns in schools, the death penalty, and the health of my prostate!

I made a simple comment, "slow news day" and waited for my daily dose of harassment by you.

Look at yesterday, I posted a light-hearted play on the ML logo. Lindsay laughed. You freaked out.
