Ah, I got the same `An exception was thrown by the type initializer for HttpApi` error on the aspnet/MusicStore sample as well, must be the same reason. Is this something that can be resolved by updating the k web command in the project.json file or does it require a deeper fix than that?

I think I had a monolite error (in v 111 it should use basic.exe not gmcs.exe) and I installed k from the source and now it works great. Thanks for this guide!

I'm trying to go through these steps in Ubuntu and ran into this error:

~/HelloKRuntime$ kpm restore -s https://www.myget.org/F/asp...
The assembly mscorlib.dll was not found or could not be loaded.
It should have been installed in the `/usr/local/lib/mono/4.5/mscorlib.dll' directory.

Mono appeared to build and install correctly:
