hmm. wish i knew what to tell you. did you try restoring to original settings by clicking on restore and not browsing to a firmware bundle? thats all i can really think of.
i would search google to see if anyone else is having the same problem.

I would try to restore to the old software. Is itunes recognizing your phone at all? if it is you should be able to hit alt/option + restore then browse to the old software bundle and restore (or to the legit 2.1 bundle) then try to use quickpwn. I have an ipod touch so it may be different for me.

i couldn't get it to work at all with pwnage tool. i used quick pwn and it works fine. try that.

i would like to know this as well, except I have the ipod touch with 2.0.2 firmware.

How can I update to the 2.1 software on my jailbroken 2.0.2 ipod touch? Do I need to update to the 2.1 software first then go through the jailbreak process again or can I just use pwnage tool 2.1? I downloaded the 2.1 software but did not install it and I can't find it in my computer. I assume that is the firmware bundle I should use to make the custom firmware... ?

At least they didn't make the mistake of amputating. I heard a story of a woman going in to deliver a baby and they put her under. When she woke up her legs were gone and they offered no explanation.
