Valid point there. But Gmail has the Login form on the right top because thats a standard practice thats been used for sometime now. Also, how many people actually read what Gmail has to say there?

About wordpress, that design is totally fine because they don't have anything else on the site other than the login form. that way its an awesome design.

I strongly believe, if you have too many things on your page, then top right is the best place.

People are more intelligent then we think we are. Most of us using Firefox/Chrome would love to stick to it no matter what IE does. So it's just some stupid email according to me.

I completely agree with point 1, 2 and 3 that you made. But about point 4, nobody tells us to be poor. We always have an option and we need to look in the right direction. Like Bill Gates said, "If you are born poor that's not your mistake, but if you end up dying poor, then its your mistake".

BTW interesting perspective you gave to the whole debate.

Thanks that you like the new look on the blog.

What I feel about innovation is when we build products for the domestic market we also need to consider the question that "How would this product get into the Global Markets as well?" This way you are making your life easier by having a Global and Domestic appeal for the product. If you are building products for the domestic market then we need to have a lot more innovation going into it rather than just building a product around a successful product elsewhere.

I never knew I never imagined someone would be writing a blog post on this rather in-Famous incident.. :P I agree twitter is a powerful tool...Realtime updates to neone from around the globe about you.
But then this also means there are times when u need to be carefull about wat u say on twitter. Coz u never know whos reading the tweet.
