This is a nice post. It would have been great if you can mention about kind of traction you got from different channels? Like Twitter, facebook and other social media outlets.

There are apps on facebook to run similar contest/giveaways.

I have run few contest in past titled "Share and Win", where in giving away prize to person sharing facebook page to maximum number of people.

The biggest Failure of Tata Mortors is lack of design and innovation. Look at Hyundai, Toyota, Maruti or even MNM...Each of them have great product offering.

A classic example of Tata's seriousness towards business is--one time market leader safari...Didn't changed it from the time it was launched...look at MnM, came up with Scorpio, Xylo and new XUV500....

Yes anyone can be your friend on facebook this i feel personally, I am new to facebook and have 1000 friends there, i regularly gets friend request from friend of my friend making my circle grow bigger and bigger.

Spending 6000 usd on learning social media is i think waste of money and time as i don't see any job prospects for the graduates coming out of the university after completing their degree in social media. One can easily learn about every aspects of social media on the web itself.

For me stumble, reddit and digg are the great place to share your story/blog post. I never got success from myspace or facebook.

The idea is great, but the site is not, I checked the site today but it was bit disappointing. I was not able to register there despite of multiple attempts.
Lets hope to see some improved version in near future.
