I am glad you noticed the RSS feed and thought about the friendfeed angle. This is exactly what we were hoping for from more 'advanced' users. I have been using it this way for sometime - also the Facebook app provides some of the same benefit. Eventually, all the data will be available in different formats.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;We tried to make the managing of contacts as simple and lightweight as possible - hence the google imports and the lack of data elements we require.
