I know this is quite late, but just for my 2 cents:
I love photos, I skim the twitter and do read the blog, usually later rather than right when they're posted. It's always a nice treat to have a blog waiting for me to read :) I count on the News e-mails to get my essential AFP news ASAP :)

I try to limit myself by leaving my options a little limited- this may be unmanageable for your workstyle, but-- I have a slightly "less fancy" phone that I have to pay extra if I go over a certain amount of data use, so that limits the obsessive checking, texting, facebook/email extravaganzas. It helps me to have a built in consequences/penalties that aren't my own, b/c I'd just ignore them if I was left responsible for enforcing them.

HAH! I totally know how that works- I'll be working on some project, and suddenly, you know, my room just REALLY needs to be picked up before I can continue working. Talk about distracting yourself with pseud0-useful projects.

Anywho-- LOVE the song-blog!! It was super cute and fun to watch as well as captivating, like you were talking directly to us. Who doesn't like to hear you and your musical instruments? And if it's faster/easier for you to post that way, I say go for it!

What an awesome goodbye note. I'm sorry your family members have to go their separate ways, but it's good that you all know how much each one is loved and appreciated for their hard work and their commitment to each other!
Your final show together is bound to be a beautiful fantastically bittersweet moment-- rock it out! (I'm glad you have pictures at least, of everyone :) That should make things more cope-able later on.

I like your "when I'm old" plan because it doesn't bind the US to become a melancholic, perpetually non-AFPified environ. :)
Can't wait to read about the "biz" from an insider- I know you'll have tons of heartbreaking and awe-inspiring tidbits for that.

also: How desperate should I get to go see you? I could possibly fenagle my way to NC, but it would be way easier/ probably more enjoyable to go to a more northerly destination (I live in lovely Cleveland, OH :) So, as much as you hate having to live your life by a predetermined schedule several months ahead (I can't imagine having to do that, I understand how it'd feel confining!) it helps your loving fans to schedule trips to come support you! I do hope you'll be figuring out more US dates soon :)

oh my gosh, yesss "how does a fan meet the artist..." haha, I've tried SO hard not to get 'star-struck' when meeting performers I admire-- to no avail. Lol it's horribly embarrassing when i can't think of anything original or at the least, interesting to say... I can only hope that it's a testament to their talent :P
