For that matter, there'd be inconsistencies in parts that had and had not been cleaned.

I would need to believe Brendan and Steven were criminal masterminds to be able to pull something like this off, and for it to completely evade the numerous, extremely qualified eyes that had been working defence on this case, examining every angle.

Re: GameTrailers Was A Victim Of Itself

I've always been a little dubious of them moving under the CBS banner, though. It's focus on personality-driven content was absolutely on the pulse of what people are looking for more and more now, and definitely falls in line with what makes a success of people on YouTube.

Were GT its own, independent brand, it would be crowd-funded in an instant; it wouldn't just survive, it'd thrive. But, as Jim mentioned, it instead belonged to an overlord who assigned GT an unimpressive number, and who decided to jetison.

It's a sad day when such an enthusiastic and entertaining group of people can be tossed aside. I haven't felt this bad for games coverage since 1UP were hung, drawn, and quartered.

Re: GameTrailers Was A Victim Of Itself

If you're producing content as a hobby, and not a means to pay your bills, I wouldn't feel too depressed about it.

Re: IGN's Weekly WWE 2K16 Roster Reveal

All that matters is the inclusion of Heath Slater. As I mentioned, I've not played the new endings, I just see it all as undermining to the progress gaming narratives have made. The side missions were a novel addition, but between that and driving between story missions, the open world element was pretty much redundant.

Had the experience been a linear series of cases/scenes I would have enjoyed the game more; just following the great story Team Bondi had crafted.

Re: FIFA 12 - Player Impact Engine Video

I'm not entirely sure about what he's saying. From the sound of it, this'll be the equivelant to God-mode if you've got someone like Messi or Ronaldo on your team. People will just be holding down sprint and running forward all the time, and because those players can "bounce of tackles" they'll probably just tear through the pitch. I hope that ain't the case, but it sounds like it.

Re: Hello world!

Test

Re: http://desirevo.tumblr.com/post/5869705963

Testing

Re: UK Movie Theaters Also Threatening An Alice In Wonderland Ban

This is very interesting, but could someone explain WHY theaters only make money in the last stretch of showing a movie? As you said, other companies are conducting their own business okay. it just seems like as soon as Ziff lost grip on things, it all started to avalanche; like EGM was digging a bigger and bigger hole for itself no matter what happened.

I'm wondering whether, in retrospect, there was anyway they could have avoided this? Is there a specific point in the past few years that truly defined the future of EGM?
