See, that's the reason people stay married for 50 or 60 years and he sounds like a keeper. We can't let the good ones get away from us since there are so many guys out there not worth the time or energy. He gets the "Great Hubz" award.

I learned after a dumb (young) failed short lived marriage that if you don't marry someone that is not only your love interest but your best friend then it isn't gonna work. Long after the heat of passion simmers down you have to have something else to base your relationship on. Hubby is not only the love of my life - he is my true BFF and I can't imagine life without him. Ask most married people who have been together for 50+ years and they truly love one another and they will tell you that their spouse is their best friend as well. Got to have something other than just passion or you won't last for long haul.

Sorry, got preachy there and didn't mean to - just wanted to share why we work together so well.

Well after almost 35yrs together neither one of us get the flip-flops or butterflies but we shoot more for the heart tugging moments. It isn't a big thing but for all the time that we have been together, whenever I tell Hubby "I love you" he has always told me "I love you more" and he sincerely means it. He always looks in my eyes when he says it and has that "look" that connects on a deeper level. As long as I have this I know one of the big reasons that I love him.

I would have a tough time deciding between the cherry blossoms, the Japanese woman (I do have my geisha tattoo) and the Whisperings of Spring. They are all pretty.
