I've yet to read the article, but. Mimetic fiction. Paul Riceour discusses it in his writings about hermeneutics and narrative identity, which my prof wrote about... I could fetch it if you're interested? Basically it outlines how there are three levels/mediations in mimesis; art imitates life, and life imitates art. I never got to read it properly, although it raises a lot of interesting points.

Probably the same director? It looks so much like 5cm and I'm half convinced it is, but I can't seem to recall this scene. :O
