Thanks! I did not realize he was being called as a witness. (I see some articles now to that affect) Seems almost like a brilliant move by O'Mara to take out the prosecution's team captain for most of the game!

Verizon had placed it's bet on Blackberry when the iPhone first came out. they declared it was "not worth it to" market a Verizon branded iPhone. Instead, they offered a "Buy Two Blackberries for the price of One" plan. This was a great boost for Blackberry (it doubled their market share overnight), but so many Verizon subscribers jumped ship and went over to AT&T, that they suffered losses and finally succumbed to adopting a Verizon iPhone and services for iPad. The result has been enormous profit for Verizon as iPhone users are typically heavy data users too! Siri is a known data hog! More $$$ for Verizon. btw, I have a Samsung Android.

Obamas visit to Massachusetts has made this into a Brown vs. Obama race!

Coackley is irrelevant.

Publicly the President is in to try and intimidate Brown and show him the TRUE POWER OF THE OVAL OFFICE! heheheh!

Privately, Obama is furious that he has had to take personal time and party resources out to support a shoddy campaign run by a poor candidate.

Reminds me of a white guy in a pickup who was arrested back in the 90s.

He was driving erratically and got pulled over for a license plate violation . He was uncooperative and ended up getting the death sentence.

His name was Timothy McVeigh and he had just bombed the Federal building in Oklahoma City.

Had he remained cool and polite, they probably would have let him off with a ticket and a summons to go to court!

I agree! Once the officer had Gates' identity and was calling it in, he started to LEAVE the premises. Gates continued to follow him outside and harass the officer to a point of being a public nuisance and stopping traffic!

He was yelling into a phone "Get me the Chief...Hello!? YEAH I'VE GOT A RASCIST COP I'M DEALING WITH!!"

I hope they release the dispatch recording. I hear that Gates' rant can be heard in the background as officer Crowley was calling in the report.

Now Gates' lawyer Ogeltree announces that they will be canvassing the neighborhood for you people who have had run ins with officer Crowley.

So, to assasinate the officers' character, they are going to interview people he has arrested for testimony?

I'd get another lawyer!!

Race profiling and hate crimes exist in America. This is not a case of Henry Gates being a black man in America.

I think you've touched on something here. He has absolutely NO CLUE as to what it's like to be black in America.

He's upset over an officer checking his home for a break-in.

He's probably never been pulled over and beaten up by a cop. Or harassed just for standing in front of a liquor store at 10 PM. Or riding a bicycle through a neighborhood at 3AM.

All his life, he's lived with privilege in his ivory tower and NOW, he decides to get in the fight.
