as someone who has had curly hair since birth, i have my own method, but i think curls are as unique as your fingerprint and everyone has something different that works for them. i put either mousse or hair cream on my palms and hang my head upside down to apply to underneath my hair and then on top. works for me!

AMEN. I think there are a lot of negative qualities to Carrie, its silly to hold her as the best of the bunch. All of the women had positive and negative qualities and for everyone that hates on Miranda, she was a successful professional who worked hard to balance love, family, and work...who cant identify with that?

Julia Allison is a clown and has some sort of mental issues judging by the way she lives her life and sees nothing wrong with her character or her writing. I really do hope her Bravo show airs so she can be so embraced by America at large and not just us basement dwelling cat ladies.

Kale salad is awesome. Ive been making one with a little parm shaved in and some tuna or chicken. So good, filling, and pretty cheap! I also laze out with the salad dressing and get Trader Joes Goddess Dressing or the Annies Goddess Dressing, pour half into another container, then mix in some soy sauce, lemon juice, and rice wine vinegar to thin it out. I made one salad Sunday night and it was still crunchy yesterday! Dont pour half a bottle of salad dressing on everything though haha.

that is too funny. i remember loving this outfit of a long flowered skirt with a velvet sweater that had this doily things hanging off the end of the sleeves over my hands. now i want to look at my old school photos, sadly the ones from 2nd-8th grade i was wearing a uniform.

Thankfully I dont like on the UES anymore, but theres a million places in the city that are cheaper. That casey culture chick got a 12 buck mani that shes raving about. This is kind of like when Jordan was complaining about the prices of food on the UES...which is why you see so many people carting their Trader Joes on the subway from 14th to 86th.

Yeah I feel like the clothes could go either way. I know, the homegoods are awesome...I really like the vase that Nina Garcia had on her blog and the plates and what not.

I want all the Missoni things. Im going to do it online since the Targets in the NYC vicinity are terrible. I want those blankets, the flats, a sweater, and maybe some pillows. What do you think of the clothes? Its hard to tell with Target clothes because sometimes the quality is great but sometimes the material looks nicer online than in person.

Youre welcome! I think I like Tana French and John Hart so much because their characters are fully flushed out...I hate it when Im reading a thriller and all of the sudden I have to ask, wait who the hell is that? Theyre the killer? I dont even remember them!

In non-suspense, Ive also been rereading Pat Conroy books. I love reading books about Charleston in the summer!
