From that time on, my mom and I cared for her on a 24/7 basis. Two weeks ago she was placed on a ventilator due to pneumonia. Ten days ago the ventilator was removed and she passed away. Only my close friends knew this, as I don't want my personal life dragged through the internet.</p><p>That's why I've been such an ___.
