Ultimately, you as a human being must be involved in any references or act of networking that may happen.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If I let you read the profiles of all of my connections, it could be misleading in many ways, mostly because things change and the relationship between myself and my connections is not shown on my profile.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I should hope that you would have the courtesy to call me and let me know what you are looking for.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;You could even ask to share connections with me.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Anyone who asks me to share connections is sure to get a list of connections I feel is appropriate for them based on the conversation we have.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;To give people a generic one layer look at your network and have no refinement over the delivery is just not professional networking. People know more about people than a paragraph can expose.
