One thing though is, because
they're so nascent right now, that they're in a better place to develop a
platform for business ventures, such as Beta. In business, avatars don't
necessarily have to take off their clothes...unless of course it's the
office Christmas party! Oh, well.

Cheers, and See you later,

Evad

Re: Evaluating Blue Mars — an open letter to Avatar Reality’s representatives

Hi Gwen! It's Evad...I see you signed on to Blue Mars about the same time I did, a few days ago. I'm hoping BM can learn from the mistakes of LL over the past five years. I feel as though they might have dug themselves into an inextricable business model back during our palmy days in Neualtenberg. Now it's time for a platfom who can support a viable business metality that would mesh with the concept of Beta, so we can all rest a little easier. THat being said, I ask this from the position of the non-geek you know I am, but here goes: If need be, would a copy of the Linden-Scripted Beta Park be portable to BM, or is Blue Mars' Cry Engine too proprietary to support it, making it so it would have to be built from scratch ( I might also include here the possibily of porting a copy of the fine work you and Moon did for T4G Island)?

Good luck tommorow on the Bata opening! I'll see you there (at i-Learning Workshops) where we can talk some more.

Cheers, Gwen,

Evad
