yeah I talked to TL yesterday, he said that the superfogeys thing (while great experience and a lot of fun) is really boggin him down and he's still working on his new computer and figuring it all out. so he told me "not to worry, more bullfinch is on the way" but he said that it may just be a bit longer. The good news is that he has a few already paneled up and ready to launch, he just doesn't want to fall behind and pull all-nighters when he has to work the next day anymore.

I would say it is well deserved, somehow you did something like 350 comics straight with very few breaks, built many characters, devised plotlines for each and evolved the very style, art, writing, and story telling of Bullfinch. From the outset they were just 3 panel clever jokes using your characters, then your overflowing talent would not allow such a stilting platform and you HAD to expand. This entailed clever story telling (i.e. "The Count" from Seseme Street turning Vlad (the misunderstood artist/accidental impaler) into the first and King of all vampires via a magic spell gone terribly wrong). All the while you've had a full time job, and worked on a 22 page Superfogeys! You've been at it for years now, it's YOUR comic, feel free to take a break. You are the boss, all of your fans will be awaiting your return with bated breath I'm sure.

aww, I like when the king is going crazy and they almost taze him, or when he breaks into mcdonalds for thier bacon egg and cheese recipe! but, uh, by the way Gil's response to "times were traversed and continuums wobbled" is great, who says "ha! understood!" to that? a guy with a creature in a tube in his office, thats who.

probably because it was 500 years ago, and his memory may not be photographic. I barely remember college... but by the way, his office is AWESOME! if i ever have an office, thats what i want it to look like! except for the creature in the tube that has a tail. I could do without that. as for KC, cat's outta the bag now! wonder what he's gonna do.

I dunno, where I used to work we treated them as pests since they would get into everything, they were trapped or shot at, so i'm assuming since he has a shirt they decided not to shoot him yet, but if he starts tearing open Black Oil Sunflower Seed bags, Gilgamesh will get the 22 out. squirrels do not work out well at places that warehouse birdseed as you can imagine. i'm guessing the squirel horde was poised to attack the bullfinch feed warehouse back when xerxes was the boss.

wow, KC went all "flame on". Nice to know his magic is still in tact. I think the most impressive part about his whooooole ordeal is that he never messed up his clothes. He might have to wash them, but not even a grass stain on a sleeve. his time traveling is very professionally done for a rookie.

OOOO 2-D! fantastic! your like the james cameron of webcomics! by the way third panel that has a dark cloud surrounding KC is awesome, as he gets more and more upset about his story, the smoke starts, then the red panel, i love the imagery there, lots of thought went into that, great stuff.

wow beautiful comic again! great colors! I cant wait to see what happens in the future since KC kinda "stepped on a lot of butterflies". Will KC take back his squirrel horde, now that Oscar is in the past? will his magic power still work and still reside in him? did Gilgamesh survive the fight? did he recover the box or did Hermes actually get it?

i especially like the Meat Cleaver sketch! yeah, this is cool especially when you get around to telling that story about them jumping through time. I wonder though, how after today, will we see Oscar again since he has been left in the 1400's with no more time machine? perhaps he has 42 make him a new time machine? Vlad turns him into a vampire-cat? he leaves notes for the present day squirrel horde to come back and find him, and they go on a da vinci code like hunt for missing peices of the note to figure out where in time he is and finally come back to get him?

hahaha, this one is awesome! did not see that coming! the bickering between those two is hilarious, and the arm being powered by an Iron-Man-like power source is great! the looks in the last panel are classic too. I've noticed since you got that pad thingy that the colors have been a lot more vibrant, the backgrounds are great, even when they're just a blend of colors to make the characters in the foreground pop. nice work!
