Hi William,

I completely understand, however if an effort to keep things simple, we have no plans at this time to add different payment/upgrade options. If you sign up for a premium place, I recommend creating a calendar reminder to cancel the plan after the party so you don't get charged extra. Sorry for the inconvenience.

You only need to keep the subscription for as long as you want the invitation to be available. So using a larger plan for two months would cost about the same or less than the smaller plan for the whole year. We do not plan to increase the guest list limit for the simple plan.

The premium sites work the same as Anyvite, guests do not have to sign in to RSVP.

If you have a group and multiple group members need to make invitations, then only one group member should sign up and add the other members as contributors to the site so they can all create invitations without paying for multiple sites.

Unfortunately no. If you're using this for a group of some sort, then the group could sign up for one site rather that everyone having individual sites and then that one site would have all of the invitations.

An image that large will likely be resized. The premium sites come with a 15 day free trial.

We do not anticipate having the free site available again in the near future. The blog post explains why we just don't have the time or resources to continue supporting the free site.

Hi Melissa,

When you signed up, the system didn't properly assign your subscription to your premium site which is why you couldn't create an event. I appologize for the inconvenience. Please check the site again and you should now see the option to create an event.

To cancel your site, you must go directly to the premium site that you created initially. You can not go directly to anyvite.com. I've canceled your subscription, you're all set.

Contacts will be the same between the Anyvite site and the Premium Sites, as long as you're using the same login account. Unfortunately, we can't transfer all invitations. If you have existing invitations on the free Anyvite site that have not taken place yet, you can continue with those as is.

To cancel your premium site subscription, just go to the premium site, login with an admin account, click the Site Admin tab, then Billing, and find the option to cancel your subscription.

These aren't printed invitations, they're online only. There's no back, so you can't add an image there.

When you sign up for a premium site, you have to go directly to your premium site to use it. You can't go to anyvite.com. You created the URL for your premium site when you signed up. If you don't remember, send us an email at support@anyvite.com and we'll look it up for you.

These spam events were being created manually unfortunately. Thousands over the course of a week.

Unfortunately, we don't have the ability to whitelist certain accounts on the free site and we don't have the resources currently to add that ability. Our only option currently are the discounted premium sites.

Thanks Patricia, I wouldn't call it a tipping point, more of a pick the least painful option for everyone involved. There's no "go for it" option, we're committed to other things so working on Anyvite full time isn't an option. It's also not a "sell for big bucks" situation. The option is to either shut it down or try to help it continue so at least some people can continue using it. I appreciate the support!

For anyone else who gets stuck, if you sign up for a premium site, you must go directly to your premium site to create events. You can not just go to the main Anyvite site.

I'm nervous about offering this $5/month plan because unfortunately, I don't have the time or resources to provide support to everyone who has questions once they get started. Your address book is the same between all Anyvite sites, but unfortunately, old invitations won't show up so you'll have to create at least one new one from scratch. I appologize for the inconvenience.

The only way to charge that little would be a yearly subscription and we can't commit to running Anyvite for a year or more. The goal of the $5 per month plan was to give people a way to continue using Anyvite for the time being.

As I mentioned in the blog post, no one works on Anyvite full time anymore so we don't have the time or resources to market to sports groups or try to drum up interest. Unfortunately, the $5/month plan is the best we can do. Sorry for the inconvenience.
