My wife asked me straight away what other woman I went saw this with (as it was before our time). Turns out, after much scratching of my head, that I saw this when I was travelling in Romania a bit over a decade ago and was desperate for a bit of mindless English language entertainment as an escape. The good thing about movies there (back then) was that they were about $AUD 1-2. I saw a lot of top quality entertainment that year, the pinnacle of which was undoubtedly Con Air.

As an aside, I noticed that when Nine was advertising this last night they said that it starred Julia Roberts and "Australia's Rachel Griffiths". No mention of Cameron Diaz who does seem to play quite an important role.
