As somebody who trains Capoeira, I'm very happy to see something being developed using Blender. I give best wishes that the project is successful.

Also have to say Blendernation is doing a great job on the website, i like to see the website being updating the website so often. Keep up the good work!

I know there will be a day when myspace2.0 comes around. It's inevitable, probaly more along the lines of useless junk people can do on the site like realtime friend interactions through the site rather than anything like rss.

The parts I feel are off with the new design is that it's hard to tell when one post begins and one ends, they all just look too connected I think.

The theme of the ads in the middle of threads are so similar that they look like posts as well, so my eyes always get caught looking at them.

And last thing is that it just feels a bit weird looking at a forum that's aligned left. Center just seems more natural.

But then again I don't even go on the forums that often.

Woooh. That argument from the first paragraph sounds pretty strong. Using the past verdict to strengthen their case makes me hope even more that Opera are successful in getting a verdict that might end up removing some of IE's market share, even if by a bit.

It definitely looks clean, but I find on the article body area that there is too much white. It may be because on the left hand of the article you have a white margin to the edge of the page, then on the right hand side there's just ads (especially at the beginning of an article).

Having some more color on the site to make it easier for my eyes to focus on the content would be helpful.

This site has not only been an invaluable resource for me since it's inception, but it has provided so many useful links for me to continue reading and learning on other websites and blogs, that not only should FSw be honored with an award, but it has enough authority among freelancers to run its own awarding event.

FSw is a site with such respect and authority (and beautiful design), that it would be a shame to not have it recognized.

I'd say for criticisms that it's certainly lacking the something that tells me "with this site I can maybe do something useful with all these feeds".

I certainly found tons of stuff I wouldn't have otherwise though through my feeds. So there's something to be said for that.

I love how this event has told a new story of the balance between these three big players. It's almost like a big performance, with so many different possible outcomes that just makes it grab your attention.

I'd almost be disappointed if there wasn't a thematic finish.

It was a mess before, and it appears it's going to be a mess afterwards. Big difference being that users will get in the short run get only marginal utility while there's a big tug-of-war going on around them.

I'd say the company who wins gets its program secured by as many of the new startups as it can. For me anyways it's not going to really provide utility where I already have accounts set up and all right? And if the new players are ignored in favor of the in-crowed it's just gonna go nowhere.

Also, I never want myspace holding my data.

I agree with you. There are plenty of uses for a system like Disqus which a lot of posts can be written about. I'm just now understanding why Disqus intergrates into a users services like Twitter. Disqus is taking a comment writer, and give users an up to date profile of that users interactions across the net. Integrating that information plus adding even more functionality if the commenter is part of my social network would seem to me is what commenting needs to be on the net.

I only made it up on the Saturday because of a backlog of school work that needed getting done, but for me, just being around so many bloggers, and photographers, has given me a renewed excitement for blogging, and it's also gotten me excited about the platform.

Before even though I didn't really care too much about Wordpress 2.7, after seeing Matt talk about the Wordpress road map, I feel more excited to be a user of the platform and I also feel more a part of the whole Wordpress community.

And that's all because of the people who made the effort to put Wordcamp together, and for those who made it out.

Great Post, it's a good list that isn't too specific but it's easy to come up with a particular action for almost every point mentioned.

It seems social media tools really help businesses not "be evil" more and more.

I love the trend of what looks like 4 or 5 of these different desktop set ups using XFCE for its desktop environment.

Great source of inspiration and thanks for including much of the details of each theme.
