By first adding value and sharing with this author, additional doors have opened for me. To take that a step further, a friend will be having coffee with this author as a result of my introductions, to learn more on networking.

By applying social media networking, I am in closer contact with my in-person connections, but have expanded business by building relationships online. Using social media to establish or extend relationships is important to expanding business based upon trust.

Re: courtney’s topic

type comment

Re: How I’m Blogging My Way To Less

Thanks Tamal! Disqus does have a custom footer to put into your Feedburner account to see a feed comment count. On one hand, I want to do business with my friends, but on the other hand - when is enough enough? When I am in person with others, even casually, sometimes business opportunity arises. Many, though, don't even think about "show less of" and just delete. I give out my ClickToAdd link when actual conversation begins to happen - when we want to move beyond 140 characters to some other system, or if we share so many similar interests that we should be friends on other sites(flickr, digg, etc.) Being able to direct people at that page furthers connection on other platforms. not sure what else SocialToo has in the works, but it could be a good resource.

Re: Twitter is like Calvinball

It's a riot.
