Long time bespectacled wearer. I've tried everything from "anti fog" lubes, to sports glasses like the adidas evil eyes with prescription insert. None have been really satisfying in the cold and wet climate I reside in...
Except; contact lenses! I've always had trouble with sticking a finger in my eye, and so have always trusted my trusty glasses (you smack 'em on yer face, voila perfect vision). But in terms of connivence (on and off the bike), they're hard to beat. They've never fallen out during a ride, they don't fog, and with the all-day, one day, easy of use soft contact lenses I've used daily for two years now, there's no looking (pun intended) back. Give them a try, if only for a month. It's a simpel game changer.
PS. I still get to use my expensive sun glasses. Or indeed, ANY sunglasses!
PPS. I'm a -5.5 and -6 with astigmatism too.
