I don't have a comment on the article, you're free to live your life in any way you choose. But the photo defies the text. The posed, tight-eyed fake smile on the right makes it look like you're pretending to be something you're not. You should find one that looks casual and authentic, like you're comfortable in your own skin, like the photo on the left.

My parents go to the Jazz festival every year. They took this train once, and described it as one of the worst travel experiences in their life. Yes, there were a couple nice bits of scenery, but took twice as long as it would to drive and wasn't any cheaper than a flight. They've flown every time since.
