The section on some sane values for postgresql.conf is refreshing. Nobody seems to talk about it!

small correction: the semi-colons should be removed from commands like \list and \connect

muchas gracias!

I just prepended /usr/local/bin to my PATH. I may regret that later. Of course had I known that Lion ships with postgres 9 I may have tried to use that first.

Yes! It is working on heroku. I actually made quite a few changes to the original railscast code– to support adjusting the crop without uploading a new image.

I gotta make some time to extract my code into a sample project.

I had dots in my bucket name (for CNAME functionality) and had to change this:
path = "http://s3.amazonaws.com/:id/#{definition[:path]}"
to:
path = "http://s3.amazonaws.com/#{definition[:bucket]}/#{definition[:path]}"
