Greg - my guess is they're not getting their data from SinglePlatform. One easy way to tell would be to compare menus from the same restaurant to see if they are identical in content. Another would be to ask SinglePlatform. :) Also, on desktop Google currently links out to various menu providers, including SinglePlatform and Zagat, but doesn't show menus inline.

I think you totally underestimate the difficulty of marshaling contributions from community members in a way that would be at all consistent or comprehensive to create 863 local sites worth visiting. I don't think it would work at all.

Brenna - actually the trucks' location and open/close status is coming directly from the trucks via Twitter. The ratings of the trucks come from our members and is aggregated in the usual Zagat editorial style.
