I wondered why I always got strange looks from people when I try to strike up a conversation.... I only lived in Pittsburgh for 5 years but it was enough to get me into that habit of chatting with strangers in public places when nothing is going on. Now it all makes sense.

Sing Sing is great but there's another dueling piano bar in the South Side called Charlie Murdoch's. The guys at CM used to play at SS but branched off on their own. SS is nice because you have all the stuff from Rock Bottom to go with it. I don't think CM has a lot of food, if any, and the musicians do a lot more jamming with other instruments. They've got a quintessential 80's guy that does a mean Bohemian Rhapsody though. Definitely highly recommended.
