Can XBMC stream over the internet? If it can, I was unaware of those capabilities.

Re: App Stores: How hard can it be? [Nokia Ovi Store]

I can't help but feel that Nokia is deteriorating (as are other GSM makers). I think I might end up biting the bullet and getting an iPhone if they release a new one. At least here in the States there is great support, a huge number of developers, and it does a lot (even if the hardware is limited compared to my N85 and N82).

Re: Day 02 - N82 Saga

No, I never got my memory card back. You should probably send in your
phone without it to be safe.

Re: Ultimite guide to triple booting Asus eeePC 1000H

I am not 100% sure, but I think some people reported that they were able to install on an HD. Personally I don't know because I don't have access to that hardware.

Re: Pre-Order the Nokia N97 Now (In Germany, Sweden, Italy, & USA)

I think that the longer I await this phone the less spectacular it seems. For 700 bucks I only get a 5MP camera (same one as the N95 from 2 years ago), a 434MHz processor, dual LED, same OS as the 5800 (which I did not like, especially the on-screen QWERTY - a non issue for the N97), not many apps available, and a rather sluggish browser (if it is the same one as the 5800). Yes, it does have 32GB built in, but that seems to be the most advanced part of it. I do not want to pay 700 for a cool Facebook app.

Granted I am also not too excited about the i8910 which runs the same OS and is likely to have similar issues. My 2 biggest rants about the i8910 is that it has a single LED (seriously??? 8MP and HD video and 1 LED, wtf) and the on-screen QWERTY.

That is not to say that I won't end up with a N97 or i8910 but I am just not as excited about them as I was when I first learned about their upcoming releases. (PS I am Mike Mihaylov, feel free to delete the previous comment)

Re: Ultimite guide to triple booting Asus eeePC 1000H

It should work. I would look around the net to see if OS-X would work. I do not know if any hardware changed which would not work under OS X. Windows XP, and 7 should be fine. Some hardware support might be missing from *nix. I would go ahead and try it.

Re: Ultimite guide to triple booting Asus eeePC 1000H

What you would have to do is install XP first, then, Windows 7, then Mac, then Linux. You would also have to create another NTFS partition for XP in step 0.

Here is a guide from Lifehacker which describes how to dual boot XP and Windows 7. That guide combined with my guide show be enough to get you through.

Re: Ovi.com Nokia Settings

It may have issues if you haven't gotten the SMS from ovi.com. You can look around for "custom grub splash screen" or some variation of that. Here are some resources that I found:
http://dailypackage.fedorab...
http://ruslug.rutgers.edu/~...
http://www.ubuntugeek.com/h...

Good luck. I have yet to mess around with setting up a custom splash screen. If I have sometime in the next few days I will try and write up another tutorial.

Thanks for reading and thanks for your suggestions.

Re: S60 Issues Updated Touch UI Video

I was so happy about this until she busted out the stylus again...that is so old school. It looks like it slides out, so hopefully there is QWERTY keyboard. This would be amazing as long as they don't mess with us and let the device have US3G (AT&T as well as T-Mobile) and Xenon, this would be KILLER!
