I am assuming you are referring to the Book of Leviticus for your anti-homosexuality stance. The same book that calls the consumption of certain animals an abomination. So why not lead a crusade against shellfish? ThomasLB posted the site where you can find it.

And the New Testament? Jesus put the kabosh on all that tomfoolery with the New Covenant.

Unfortunately Chris, you just cannot take one vague passage , interpret it literally and then ignore other ones that contradict your argument.

And why, why!? do you think think the bible is the authority on life, on cultural norms? Do you not see that that it is a gross infliction of dogma? Do you not see how incredibly narrow that is? How can you be so blind?

Don't presume that the lifestyles of those who are not heterosexual are painful. I can't imagine a life more painful than being narrow minded to the point of delusion.

Re: the ch!cktionary - God shoulda put a ring on it.

Oh Chris, the only thing that is a sin in this entire thread is the fact that you feel the need to preach your flawed, antiquated notions of what is morally acceptable and what is not. If you don't accept one's lifestyle you certainly don't love them. You imply this idea of universal, utopian, christian love. Bullshit. If you love us, leave us the fuck alone, brother.

Re: the ch!cktionary - Thanks to the fully intact pal who forwarded this...

If your kid is so concerned about his uncut penis, he can get circumcised. "I won't be the one to force my kid to go against the grain," but see you are FORCING your kid. The poor bloke can always get his foreskin lobbed off but he can't get it sewn back on. Just because a baby may not consciously remember something doesn't mean you should inflict unnecessary trauma on your kid. Also, sex with uncircumcised guys? Not awkward. In fact, some would say its better because there are nerve endings in the foreskin and the guy is more sensitive.

Re: the ch!cktionary - Thanks to the fully intact pal who forwarded this...

Lena,
I fucking love that you write about everything from sex toys to male circumcision.
It is always so bizarre to me that there is not more of an outcry over male circumcision in the United States. As you wrote, It is antiquated, barbaric, and dangerous. Those three adjectives also perfectly describe the flawed maternity system, as a whole, in this country. I think everyone should read Dr. Mardsen Wagner's book, "Born in the USA: How a Broken Maternity System Must be Fixed to Put Women and Children First." It really explains the dire need for more midwife care and less unnecessary interventions from doctors and uninformed politicians legislating where and how women birth.
Love your writing.

Re: Coitus and Cop-outs

Check.. check..
