As tough as a decision as this was, it is the right thing to do for the future of the sport. I will miss you this summer at World Cup. It won't be the same w/o you in the Red White and Blue. I'm excited though with y'all being united and only playing for the NPF to see what happens this summer in the NPF. It should be an exciting summer. I Hope the NPF will be able to expand soon to the midwest . Best of Luck to you and Megan in Japan. This should really help y'alls careers. It's probably both exciting and a little bit scary but you'll do just fine. You two are the best pitcher and catcher in the World and all you have to do is take care of each other. I hope someday I'll get to see you pitch again in person but then again how many more years do you have left in your arm. I'll always cheerish watching you pitch againt Japan at 2009 World Cup. That will always be one of the best days of my life. Just Take Care of youself enjoy what life gives you and be Thankful for all the opportunities God and softball have given you. You were great in Venezuela. You gave it your all. Unfortunately it ended with the partial tear. The bad thing is,I had a gut feeling a week before Worlds that something bad was going to happen to either you or Danielle Lawrie. I didn't know which one of you or what but something bad was gonna happen and it did but sometimes bad things happen to good people for a reason and nothing can be done about it. It was God's destiny for you. He wanted you to slow you down.
I know it has to be driving you crazy not being able to pitch right now,but please be patient and let the tear completely heal before you try to pitch again and even then don't go at it full speed ahead your first game back. In other words I don't just want you back for a few NPF games in August I want you back for another year or two or as long as the arm can tolerate it. Hear you're moving back to Austin. What are you gonna do there? I assume that means you're done coaching at DePaul.Did you get your Masters?I'm glad you and Megan are enjoying your Monday visits to the COE. I drove by it in June and it is beautiful. I'm glad Megan is able to go with you. Got to go for now. I only want what's best for you. In the mean time, Hang in there, Keep Smiling and hopefully you'll be back in the circle in no time.I'll keep praying for a speedy recovery and sending positive vibes your way to attempt to get you healed faster. Glad Megan was traded with you. Can't imagine anyone else catching you. Like the picture of you two in the Pride uniforms. Ther's nothing wrong with the way you've been pitching. You'll be fine as long as you don't try to do it every day. Glad you're enjoying Venezuela and are pitching well there. I've heard about the song for the World Championships from some of your teamates and that's really cool. Good Luck in the medal round of Worlds. Get your gold back you deserved in Beijing. Glad the Pride continues to win with so many players gone to Worlds right now. Can't wait for the new website launch. Hang in there, keep smiling and pitching good. I'm very proud of everything you accomplished this summer. i'll have to admit i was a little concerned about you pitching 5 games in 3 days during the NPF championship series. In fact that scared the crap out of me. I like the picture in the ESPN the magazine the Bodies Issue. I was a little shocked at first but I like it. Hope you get your A's the quarter. I'm sure you will. Take Care and don't ever do anything like 5 games in 3 days ever again. I'm glad the first 2 Triple

This past year has gone so fast. A year ago last Friday the world watched in shock as Team USA lost the gold medal and a lot of people broke down in tears as they saw you in tears. Now today you are the MVP of the NPF Championship and after pitching 5 games in 3 days as only you could do, you lead the Rockford Thunder to the championship. you said in one of your tweets that Bustos was the greatest hitter softball ever had, well you're the best pitcher there's ever been. Congrats on another good year of pitching both for Rockford and Team USA now it's time to concentrate on school and coaching. Congrats on your pitching season and Good Luck on your coaching season.

you did not pitch like crap last Sunday against the Pride. You are just human and humans make mistakes. You were brought in in not such a good situation and dealt with it the best you could at that time. You will bounce back against the Bandits just like you bounced back this year after Beijing. Sorry I mentioned that. I hope all goes well for Softball the 13th when the IOC votes. Keep your chin up and that beautiful on your face and hang in there. Good Luck against the Bandits and in the playoffs. You'll be back at Depaul in your office before you know it. When do you get Tucker back? I'm sure he misses his mommy. I'm sorry you lost Duke. Nice hearing from you again even though i've been following you on Twitter. I bet you really like playing with Megan again. I watched you pitch one night on the computer for Rockford and you looked awesome. I followed the Canada Cup on gametracker but was a nervous wreck following the championship game. You pitched well everytime you were in the circle but I felt like i was reliving the gold medal game all over again during the championship game. I'm glad you're enjoying Team USA and I want to wish you and the team the best of luck in thr World Cup. I'm going to try to come down Saturday if nothing goes wrong. This is my 5th try at seeing you since 2006. Good Luck with your homework. I don't know how you do it girl. I know you'll get a good grade because that's the type of determination you have. She is doing just fine. I agree it's annoying to try and watch the Thunder games on the computer. She's been in New Jersey on a recruiting trip then she will hook up with the Womens National Team for the Canada Cup July 3-12 then go to Oklahoma City for the World Cup July 16-20. She is a little sunburned right now after 12 hrs of softball yesterday but other then that she appears to be doing quite well.

Good Luck as you kick off your season with Rockford today. I was in Chicago this past weelkend and drove by Depaul for the first time. It looks like a nice school. I'm enjoying your more frequent updates on Twiitter. Are you going to play for Team USA in the World Cup or are you staying in Rockford this summer? The picture of the Rockford Peaches uniforms was cute but I don't know how anyone could play ball in them.

I didn't mean that I disapprove or not support your decision to take this last quarter off from claasses when I said in my previous post that I didn't know what to say but would trust that you knew what you were doing. I was just shocked that you had been that busy. It's a wonder you didn't kill over. I have ro admire you for wanting to wait and take the classes when you have more time to study and get the good grades you've always got. I still want to see you play someyime soon.

Good Hearing from you again. I'm glad you and everything is ok.Good Luck the rest of the season. Please don't wait so long to write next time. I don't know what to say about you taking the last quarter off from classes so I'll trust that you know what you're doing and that you will still get your MBA. It seems like every time you go out of town there seems to be some adventure to the trip. I'm glad you had a nice birthday and that Tucker is doing well. Hey what's up. I know you're busy with classes and softball coming to an end next month. Just wanted to wish you Good Luck with your finals and hopefully you'll have a strong end to the softball season as well with Depaul going to the World Series. Keep hanging in there. Can you shed some light as to what is going on at home (Houston) as far as the flooding? Is your family and everything ok? Tell them I'm thinking about them. Are you feeling any better or are you still exhausted? Have you had a chance to relax any and study in between the Georgia trip and the California trip? I'm sorry you didn't get to enjoy Vegas any more then you did. It's a bummer the trip to Georgia was all postponed but the one game. Merry Christmas Cat and the Osterman family. I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I'm glad your classes went well. I bet Tucker was happy to see his Mommy. Be careful when you hit the slopes but at the same time have fun. Are you not going to play for Team USA this summer for the World Cup? You're right what you said at the beginning everyone does deserve some time to be lazy once in a while and you especially do after the year you've had.
